The Vienna Sausage capital of the world is looking for candidates that have a strong work ethic, possess strong technical skills with a solid mechanical aptitude, capable of performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain electronic components of production machines and the plant facility's equipment, and have the desire to work in a team-based environment.
**Main Responsibilities**
**What you will do:**
+ Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environment
+ Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment
+ Install safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit break panels, etc
+ Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
+ Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through conduits
+ Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulate cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
+ Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
+ Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, ensuring that systems are grounded.
+ Perform mechanic skills focus on electrical, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
+ Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility.
+ Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
+ Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
+ Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Be responsible for executing all required quality processes and documentation
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performance
+ Assists in training new employees
+ Attend meetings and trainings as required
+ Perform additional related tasks as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 2-year AAS degree or two years of Industrial Experience
+ Must be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal or written form
+ Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules
+ Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
+ Repetitive arm and hand motions during working shift
+ Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
+ Able to lift 40 pounds consistently
+ Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces

The starting wage for a Maintenance Electrician Technician position is 35.82 Additional wage opportunities are available through a Skill Based Pay system in which an individual can earn up to 42.93 per hour. Conagra Brands also offers shift differential payment for those working off-shift. Full time Maintenance Electrician Technicians will be expected to work a 40+ hour per week. The individual will be required to work overtime, some holidays, and some weekends. (Don't worry - we give plenty of notice regarding scheduled OT!) Perform routine and complicated maintenance work including basic and advanced PLC work. Provide work direction to Maintenance Mechanic A (electrician trade). Perform other related work as assigned.
Must be a journeyman (electrical preferred) with PLC experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience performing complex work in industrial electrical, electronics, computer and PLC maintenance. Experience and competency in electronics including:
Demonstrated competency with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView and SLC 500 equipment shown by passing Allen-Bradley skills requirement criteria.
**Primary Responsibilities**
Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties according to specific department guidelines:
+ Demonstrated competency with Link press control equipment shown by passing Link skills requirement criteria.
+ Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Windows skills shown by passing Windows skills requirements.
+ Responsible for helping to maintain and repair all machines and equipment in the facility. Performs all electrical repairs. Works closely with machine adjusters during repairs as well as manages the processes to ensure preventive maintenance is performed to ensure highest output of machines.
+ Read and evaluate electrical schematics and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment
+ Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems
+ Responsible for general maintenance and electrical work of grounds, facilities, processes and equipment
+ Experience in reading and troubleshooting from blueprints & schematics with system voltages 240 and 480 three-phase system.
· Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
· Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control.
+ Use hand and power tools related to the electrical trades.
+ Strong math skills including measurement
+ Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic.
+ Troubleshoot using meters, computer, schematics and manuals

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be a key player in keeping our high-tech production equipment running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:
- Advanced PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics (including ladder logic and online programming)
- Installing and maintaining relay and PLC-controlled systems
- Servicing and calibrating AC/DC motors and drives
- Working with voltages up to 480 VAC
- Performing preventative maintenance and system upgrades
- Reading blueprints and working with both standard and metric measurements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience
- Expertise in PLCs —including troubleshooting, modifying ladder logic, and working with control systems
- Experience with motors, transformers, power distribution, and AC/DC drives
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule (6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM)
- Your own tools and a commitment to safety and precision
- Bonus: Experience in the printing industry is a plus, but not required
