System One is seeking a Nuclear Maintenance Equipment Engineer to support the design and delivery of nuclear maintenance casks and support equipment for the Natrium reactor project. In this role, you will work within the Fuel Handling group, collaborating with other systems design teams on the development, fabrication, and delivery of nuclear maintenance equipment. The successful candidate will integrate and coordinate with engineers working on interfacing systems and report to the NME Lead and Ex-Vessel Fuel Handling Manager as part of a high-performing team of engineers and scientists.
Responsibilities
- Design nuclear maintenance equipment systems from requirements through final design, focusing on operational performance.
- Create operational narratives, diagrams, and documentation for nuclear maintenance systems and equipment.
- Support the development of automated control systems and related equipment.
- Provide input and review of analyses such as thermal, seismic, structural, and heat transfer.
- Identify and apply correct design codes and standards (ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc.).
- Provide technical direction and guidance on nuclear design and operational standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop and manage drawing packages including P&IDs, 3D models, and interface drawings.
- Oversee fabrication and delivery of maintenance equipment, including casks, valves, adapters, and support components.
- Interface with multidisciplinary design teams to establish system design and performance criteria.
- Develop and review technical design documents (Design Descriptions, Interface Control Documents, Engineering Design Specifications).
- Support licensing and regulatory documentation, design reviews, and system qualification testing programs.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- B.S. in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical system design and operations.
- Proven experience with nuclear reactor systems, nuclear fuel handling, or nuclear maintenance processes.
- Strong background in the design and operation of complex mechanical systems, structures, and equipment.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Current or previously qualified nuclear plant operator (EOOW, SRO, STE, or similar) highly desired.
- Experience with radiological controls in nuclear facilities preferred.

Our client, a leader in clean energy innovation, is seeking a dependable, skilled, and proactive **Equipment Maintenance Technician** to support its Stack Manufacturing operations. **What is the job?**
+ Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment
+ Install and modify machinery per engineering instructions
+ Perform and document preventive maintenance tasks
+ Develop and refine equipment maintenance procedures
+ Recommend and implement machine upgrades and improvements
+ Support equipment testing and collaborate with engineering teams
+ Assist with manufacturing operations as needed
+ Ensure compliance with Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) safety protocols

**What is Needed?**
+ 5+ years of experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environment
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Experience with automated equipment and PC-based testing tools
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
+ Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations
+ Certified to operate hand and power tools
+ Reliable attendance, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and adapt to changing shifts or schedules

As an **Equipment Maintenance Technician** , you will be part of an inclusive team relentlessly pursuing innovation for our customers and partners. This role is essential to sustaining and improving equipment and processes in assigned areas of our fabrication facility. You will work closely with production team members and engineers to monitor tool performance, perform preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and repair equipment, and support equipment installations and upgrades. Your contributions will directly impact tool uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor tool performance and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets.
+ Trouble-shoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools and software.
+ Document all maintenance activities thoroughly using established check sheets and tracking systems, while routinely reviewing maintenance documentation and procedures for accuracy and improvement opportunities.
+ Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment based on schematics, manuals, and layout plans. Assist with equipment installations, testing, and modifications as directed by engineering teams.
+ Create and update equipment procedures and documentation to ensure consistent maintenance practices.
+ Systematically solve problems to improve tool uptime and reduce recurring issues.
+ Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed to maintain operational standards.
+ Use test and calibration equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs) to perform equipment checkouts.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), including standing for the entire shift and lifting equipment.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent military/industry experience.
+ Basic knowledge of semiconductor equipment and manufacturing processes, along with knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electronic components, and basic electronics theory. Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) principles and their application.
+ Familiarity with test and calibration equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters. Experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area. We work in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors. We provide the foundation to introduce some of the most sophisticated memory and storage technology to the world! We supervise tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to resolve equipment issues.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
+ Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
+ Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
+ Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
+ May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments including night shift
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment
+ Basic understanding of SPC principles
+ Knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis
+ Knowledge of algebraic concepts, data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Education in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience
+ Applied proficiency in mechatronics, robotics, fundamentals of electricity, technical writing, electrical power and machinery, or statics
