Responsibilities: • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, gutter work, and minor plumbing and electrical work • Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner • Inspect windows, doors, walls, and floors for damage and carry out necessary repairs • Build, install, or repair wood structures such as cabinets, framing, partitions, and doors • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems to reduce downtime and safety risks • Load and unload tools and materials as needed for maintenance projects • Record maintenance work performed and track service intervals • Assist with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting as needed • Follow health and safety regulations and ensure work areas are kept clean and secure • Communicate professionally with tenants, customers, and coworkers to address service needs • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience, with demonstrated carpentry skills • Familiarity with maintenance tools, procedures, and safety guidelines • Experience with drywall, flooring, painting, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems • Able to read blueprints or technical diagrams is a plus • High school diploma or GED required • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must have own hand tools • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor • Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills • Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly

Position Summary: Travel to store locations to provide a wide variety of gas maintenance repairs and services. Completes repairs on fuel dispensers, environmental monitoring systems, underground storage tank (UST) piping, and related equipment, including manways, spill buckets, concrete tank mats, drive mats, and gas islands. Conducts quality inspections on work performed by outside vendors. Carries a cell phone as required for emergency on-call services. Ensures that scheduled maintenance is performed on the service truck at required intervals. Responsible for maintaining tools and parts inventory assigned to the truck.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform fuel dispenser maintenance repairs and services
2. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
3. Maintenance and repairs of environmental monitoring systems
4. Perform underground storage tank and product line repairs (STP/Crash Valves)
5. Complete electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC)
6. Perform fueling system troubleshooting (Electronic/hydraulic)
7. Acquire and maintain all certifications and licenses- (Fuel dispenser, weights and measures, etc., safety certifications)
8. Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting with moderate assistance.
9. Additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the management team.

Working Relationships: Work directly with Department teammates. Frequent communication with other departments or teams, and External Vendors.

Minimum Education: High School or GED

Preferred Education: Trade and Technical schools, Equipment manufacturer-certified training programs

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of related experience

Preferred Experience: 3 years of related experience

Licenses/Certifications: Fuel dispenser manufacturer certification, weights and measures certifications, environmental monitoring systems, and safety certifications

Description

This position performs preventive maintenance activities and repairs of Heartland machinery in our remote plants. This individual will assist in equipment installations and other plant projects within the plant to support the business metrics. This position will be trained in print press operation and act as a backup operator in the plant, supporting production goals by covering call-ins, vacations, and other customer needs.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintenance:
• Determine machine and equipment preventative maintenance schedules based on industry standards or OEM recommendations, planning both time and parts needed to minimize the impact on production.
• Record and maintain records on machine maintenance activities using Fiix.
• Collaborate with outside contractors or Little Chute maintenance resources on plant maintenance activities where additional support/assistance is required.
• Inventory and requisition machine parts, materials, and other supplies to maximize machine uptime in the plant.
• Perform machine troubleshooting activities, using information from personal observations, machine error codes, operator feedback, or testing devices.
• Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals and schematics to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Production:
• Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, and anilox BCM.
• Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making production adjustments to ensure safety, quality, and service objectives of the business.
• Select and install printing plates, rollers, feed guides, gauges, screens, stencils, dies, and cylinders according to specifications using hand tools.
• Ensure press work area remains within 5s standards.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise on the machine you are operating.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Associate's degree in maintenance/industrial maintenance
• Other relevant education or experience as determined by management.

• Five (5) years industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical)
• Ability to troubleshoot using machine schematics
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic circuits.

• Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
