Essential Duties
Perform General Maintenance :

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible, under the direction of the Operations Manager, for proactively resolving customer service issues involving Embraer Executive Jet MRO Service Centers.
- Manage customer aircraft through EEJS MRO center maintenance/repair processes by providing primary (written & verbal) customer, hangar, and maintenance communication; tracking aircraft maintenance status; and generating & presenting cost estimates.
- Communicate aircraft issues with Customer. Identifies solutions and defines ways to provide good customer service.
- Prepare and provide Quotes for customer review and approval.
- Discuss applicable Quotes and Flat Rates with Customer.
- Identify record, analyze and evaluate service bulletins, reports, documents, manuals, technical publications, criticisms presented, detected technical/operational problems, need for repair/changes, parts, components and/or system replacement.
- Work directly with the customer and/or their representative to ensure applicable Customer Bulletins (post-delivery obligation agreements, if applicable), Alert Bulletins, Service Bulletins, Service Newsletters, and Advisory Circulars are complied with where possible prior to the aircraft return to service.
- Brief customer on all aspects of services available from EEJS relative to the maintenance, operation and support of their aircraft.
- Upsells additional work to Customer.
- Review work to be accomplished (Arrival Debrief) with Customer upon arrival of the aircraft.

- Responsible for Service Center Safety and P3E Actions specific to his function.
- Back-up for the Operations Manager.
- Works closely with areas such as Sales, Operations, Engineering, QC, Materials and Finance to ensure both customer & company requirements are met or exceeded.
- Conduct aircraft, engine and APU logbook inspections when requested.
- Address any technical inquiries from the customer with the proper Embraer designated business unit service. Provide input and inform ahead the related EEJS Field Service Representative and/or Customer Account Manager on issue(s).
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the customers' personnel.
- Work with management to support special contractual requirements and/or customer request.

Education:
- Bachelor's or high school graduate with technical training and knowledge normally achieved through graduation from a university.

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.
Job Summary
Under general direction of the Maintenance Support Team (MST) Manager, is responsible for the coordination and supervision of preventative and corrective maintenance on Navy Improved Navy Lighterage System, MPF-Utility Boat, and LCM-8 watercraft for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) program. Prepares and inspects U.S. Navy small craft and lighterage systems for transport, dry-docking, undocking, fueling, material assessments, material acceptance, and operational sea trials. Supervises the activities of Marine Diesel Mechanics, Marine Electricians, and Navy Equipment Specialists to provide preventive maintenance, repair, testing of repair, and weight handling equipment operations. Responsible for assisting the MST Manager and Crane Certifying Official in performance of the U.S. Navy weight handling program for all cranes, rigging gear, operator license requirements, training, and documentation as required by the latest edition of the NAVFAC P-307 instruction for Management of Weight Handling Equipment.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the safe operation of all U.S. Navy government furnished WHE: lifting equipment, mobiles cranes, transport and other mobile equipment.
+ Ensures responsible sections properly maintain all crane and rigging gear records.
+ Facilitates NAVFAC P-307 and related training.
+ Capable of setting up work tasks of varying complexities from written directions, drawings, and diagrams.
+ Exercises independent judgment in determining that employees use proper work methods and safe practices in accordance with NAVFAC P-307.
+ Prepares and/or maintains reports and records related to the work assignments.
+ Works with other semi-skilled and skilled crafts persons and coordinates with members of other activities to insure quality and timely accomplishment of assigned duties.
+ Provides guidance, orientation and training to newly assigned and lower skilled employees.
+ Performs specific tasks in accordance with verbal and/or written instructions and observes safety, fire, health, and work rules.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
+ Operates government computer and utilizes software programs, spreadsheets and databases, fax machine, and other general office equipment.
+ Physical Activities: Work may require standing, walking, climbing ladders, using fall protective devices, accessing enclosed and confined spaces, heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), or prolonged sitting.
+ Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree and/or course work towards a BS degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering or other related discipline.
+ In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
+ Eight (8) years of supervisory experience in Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) or watercraft operations and maintenance.
+ Experience with Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) and U.S. Navy P-307 Weight Handling Program Management is preferred. The selected candidate will be required to obtain current qualifications as a Crane Safey, Load Test Director, and Rigging Gear Inspector within 6 months of employment.
+ Must be able to conduct training classes and is competent in rigging gear inspections and certifications.
+ Have strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Visio is preferred.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.

Job Description
Work Control is a multidisciplinary group, providing deployed support to all Facility Operations Directorates (FODs) for maintenance planning, scheduling, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) support. The MSS-Work Control group uses Integrated Work Management to plan, schedule, and perform work in a safe and secure manner.
The Maintenance Support Specialist (MSS) reports to the deployed Work Control Team Leader. This position develops, monitors, and validates the accuracy and auditing of performance data, reports, and other statistical information, and supports the development and implementation of Standardized Preventative Maintenance plans and routines in line with company policy, procedures, engineering guidelines and maintenance strategy.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
+ Under direct supervision, provide general issues management support, assist in reviews and compile data, and support management assessment activities.
+ Develop an understanding of governmental regulations and Laboratory policies impacting the maintenance program to ensure compliance.
+ Assist with gathering information necessary to develop, monitor and validate accuracy, and auditing performance data, reports, and other statistical information to ensure compliance with safety, quality, budget and schedule.
+ Provide administrative support in maintaining a database and other programs as required for use in development of performance measurements and other status reports.
+ Assist with evaluating, processes, programs, and procedures for potential improvements.
+ Assist with training facility maintenance personnel on maintenance program.
+ Develop an understanding of related documentation systems and ensures compliance with all applicable document control and records management activities and security/compliance implications.
+ Assist with performing periodic reviews and assessments to ensure maintenance programs are implemented.
+ Understand and adhere to all Laboratory and industry regulatory guidance and governance specific to maintenance and quality assurance programs.
+ Support standard office functions, such as records management and customer service.
+ Prioritize, organize, and follow through with completing multiple tasks.
+ Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines with interruptions, and while sometimes changing priorities.
**What You Need**
**Minimum Job Requirements:**
**Communication:** Ability to conceptualize and fully communicate major elements of processes supporting the maintenance program to both technical and non-technical personnel. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
**Business Processes & Systems:** Basic knowledge of and experience with policy and strategy performance assurance, metrics, including policy and procedure development, implementation, and enforcement. Full knowledge of and experience with document control and records management. Clear understanding of work hazards, safety practice policies and procedures.
**Technical Competency:** Knowledge and experience in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on problems affecting facility maintenance and performance assurance; demonstrated ability to prepare and present reports.
**Education/Experience:** Position requires a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Essential Job Functions (can perform with or without reasonable accommodation):** sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying 10-20 pounds.
