Job Summary:

Maintenance Support at Five Star Park & Attractions is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of go-karts and track functionality. The role involves ensuring optimal safety for staff and guests while delivering a fun experience. The Maintenance Support is professionally accountable for the smooth operation and upkeep of go-karts.

Accountabilities:

• Perform diversified duties and repairs to maintain go-karts.
• Provide unscheduled repairs for attractions when issues arise.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of go-karts, following daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists to ensure safety and proper lubrication.
• Adhere to procedures and guidelines set forth by the manufacturer in all maintenance work on attractions.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules specified by manufacturers.
• Keep comprehensive documentation, including repair logs, annual inspections, NDT testing, and grease bearings/bearings monitoring.
• Perform In Season checklists.
• Apply mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of attractions.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and rattle can paint guns.
• Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report them to proper supervision.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Regularly review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors at all times.

Position: Maintenance Support Education: High School Diploma. Some College Education Skills:

1) Good Communication Skills. Oral and Written.

2) Self-Starter

5) Knowledgeable of the Microsoft Office Package. (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

6) Must be able to create Spreadsheet for inventory purposes

7) Valid Driver’s License

8) Licensed Forklift Driver with good driving skills

10) Basic Electrical & Mechanical Knowledge (enough knowledge to request quotes for spare parts, and services)

Tasks to Perform:

1) Picking up and delivery spare parts

2) Picking up and delivery equipment to external suppliers in and out of State.

3) Creating and maintaining an inventory of spare parts stored in satellite areas as well as internal.

4) Receiving and shipping spare parts

5) Photographing and setting up spare parts in our inventory managing software (SAP)

6) Managing our mechanical fastener cage. (Stocking, and restocking)

7) Tracking or locating incoming spare parts.

8) Creating and maintaining an inventory of department safety gates.

9) Auditing safety gates monthly and reporting failures

10) Maintaining safety equipment inventory. Example: assigning inventory numbers and tagging the equipment.

11) Monthly safety equipment spot audits

12) Interfacing with external safety equipment inspectors semi-annual

13) Obtaining Spare part purchasing quotes.

14) Obtaining quotes for required services

15) Interfacing with contractors performing servicing task

16) Responsible for appearance of satellite and internal storage areas. To include Machine Shop.

17) Interfacing with the Machinist. Insuring Machinist has supplies needed to execute necessary tasks.

18) Interfacing with the ESAs. Insuring ESA has the supplies, and tools need to execute their tasks

19) Tracking and documenting the storage of parts necessary for projects. Example: Summer and Winter Shutdown projects.

20) Creating an inventory for all leased equipment. Example Forklifts and Manlifts. 21) Ensuring all necessary documentation is present on the equipment.

22) Preforming monthly audits to ensure documentation is present.
