Buckskin Mining Company is a surface coal mine located 10 miles north of Gillette, Wyoming within the Southern Powder River Basin. The mine delivers its coal to numerous customers throughout the United States and has shipped more than 406 million tons of high-quality, low sulfur coal to its customers.

Perform tasks for the purpose of preventative maintenance of all plant equipment, machinery, metrology, and instrumentation.

Under the direction of the Preventative Maintenance Group Leader, the preventative maintenance technician will be responsible for the following:
+ Perform scheduled maintenance on all plant equipment based on standard operating procedures and the manufacturers recommendations. This includes routine mechanical, electrical, lubrication, inspection, and part replacement activities.

**Qualifications:**
+ HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical apprenticeship or Associates degree in related electrical or mechanical field preferredbut job experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
Specialized Skills:
+ Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) regulations, such as LOTO & PPE requirements.
+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred.
+ Experience with Lean Daily Management and Continuous Process Improvement tools such as Standard Work, 6S, as well as Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to a Maintenance function.
Experience:
+ 1 - 2 years in technical role performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
+ Medical device or other regulated industry documentation experience beneficial.
