**Shift:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

+ Perform basic building maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs
+ Sweep and clean the parking lot to maintain a tidy exterior environment
+ Assist with general cleanup duties around the facility
+ Help with shipping and receiving activities as needed
+ Support team efforts to ensure the facility remains safe and well-maintained
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior building maintenance is required
+ Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

**Job Summary**
The Building Maintenance team performs critical operations. This entry level position is a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain knowledge in many aspects of maintenance and resort operations. **Job Responsibilities:**
+ Perform entry-level maintenance work in several of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, mechanical, equipment operation, cabinet/countertop/trim/drywall installation, HVAC, refrigeration systems. Must have working knowledge of boiler and chiller systems. Geo-thermal knowledge is a plus.
+ Assist higher level techs with more complex tasks.
+ Attend to any work orders, guest requests, housekeeping requests, front desk requests, room calls, etc.
+ Maintain all Facilities and Operating Systems in a safe and efficient working order (ie. Auto doors, exit doorways, required snow/ garbage removal).
+ Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner.
+ Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed.
+ Carry ladder up and down stairs with required tools (may exceed 20 lbs). May require lifting arms above head and shoulders to work in ceiling (i.e. small leaks, electrical shorts, replace motors, etc.).
+ Maintain records of all work activities and support materials.
+ Provide written reports to other departments as needed.
+ Ensure safe disposal of all waste material.
+ Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure, and efficient manner.
+ Work with other departments when directed.
+ Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies.
+ Assist with preventative maintenance in common areas and guest rooms.

**Job Overview**
The Building Maintenance position is responsible for general maintenance of the facility and of the facility grounds, sidewalks, snow removal. Performs work involving the use of large and small equipment and performs routine manual labor involved in maintenance. Assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of designated tasks or areas of the hospital and other off site clinics and does related work as required.
This maintenance schedule includes;
+ 80 hours every two weeks
+ Full time; Day shift: **7 AM - 3:30 PM**
+ No Weekends!
*This position will be based out of the Bloomington location but can support multiple locations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Installation of blood pressure cuffs, bulletin and grease boards, shelving, plant hangers, coat hooks, dispensers of all kinds and corner guards
+ Replace and repair various other tasks such as: keyboard trays, hang mirror and pictures, replace casters (chairs and IV poles), chairs, sleeper chairs, wood side chairs, and shower and towel bars. Patch and paint walls, remove wallpaper.
+ Performs many other tasks such as: assemble furniture and deliver, safety check wall rails, minor re-configuration of modular furniture, shower and towel bars, and repair of housekeeping equipment
+ Assist in snow removal and grounds maintenance
+ Understands and follows safety procedures specifically related to job duties. Demonstrates functional knowledge of emergency plans and utilizes proper infection control techniques.
