Your Role on the Team

As a Maintenance Technician at Invitation Homes, you will be performing high-quality maintenance work in our single-family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to our residents. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

Completing maintenance service requests across multiple trades
Providing excellent customer service and promoting a quality living experience for all residents
Completing regular ProCare visits in residents’ homes to perform proactive maintenance and repairs
Educating residents regarding all maintenance topics
Completing general property condition assessments at all property visits and alerting the property management team when items require immediate attention
Reviewing and using Technician-specific reports to find opportunities for improvement
Performing repairs in vacant properties while they are on-the-market or during the turn process
Properly using and caring for company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles
Performing other duties as assigned

Your Experience Includes

High School diploma or equivalent
OSHA 10 is required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified).
Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance or related experience.
Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general repairs in some of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor) and appliances. Some training will be provided.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual a plus
Comfortability using mobile devices (i.e. iPad and/or iPhone) and various mobile applications
Must possess a current driver's license, automobile insurance, and any other licenses and/or certification as required by state law
The following certifications are preferred but not required:
- EPA Certification, Type I and II
- HVAC Certification
- CPO certification (pool)
Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
Ability to perform work that requires the following:
- Frequent climbing, reaching, use of fingers, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing
- Ability to lift and/or move an excess of 50 pounds or more and operate standard maintenance equipment as assigned
May be required to conduct occupancy checks and attend eviction lockouts/setouts in coordination with local law enforcement

Salary Range The salary range for this position is: $19.11 - $33.13, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Maintenance team in the industrial food industry. The Supervisor will direct and supervise the activities and assignments of the Maintenance Technicians. They will also assist in training the operators in the proper usage and troubleshooting of the equipment. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities and performing general and routine maintenance and minor repairs for several commercial buildings and equipment. Experience with forklifts is a plus. This position involves moving between different buildings either by walking or driving.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and assist with various maintenance tasks including electrical, mechanical, building repairs, plumbing, equipment servicing, and general upkeep.
Determines schedules, sequences, and assignments for repair, installation or maintenance activities based on work priority, quantity or equipment and skill of personnel.
Requisitions materials and supplies such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
Gain experience with forklift operations (experience a plus, but not required).
Provide excellent customer service and uphold high standards of quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish - spoken and written
4-8 years of previous experience within the trades.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You'll Do:

Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.
Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and utilities.
Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.
Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays
Must be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role.
To effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to support our operations by building and repairing equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Summary:

The Metal Fabricator / Maintenance Technician plays a hands-on role in fabricating, modifying, and repairing production equipment and machinery used in food manufacturing. This position also assists with routine mechanical maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all systems. The ideal candidate has solid fabrication experience, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate custom parts and components using stainless steel and other food-grade metals
Cut, weld (primarily TIG and MIG), grind, and assemble metal structures based on shop drawings or verbal direction
Modify or repair conveyors, hoppers, frames, guards, and other food processing equipment
Assist with installation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as bearing replacements, belt adjustments, lubrication, and minor mechanical repairs
Maintain tools, equipment, and fabrication area in clean, organized, and sanitary condition
Follow GMPs, food safety protocols, and lockout/tagout procedures
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication or industrial maintenance
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with stainless steel
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specs
Familiarity with basic mechanical systems (gearboxes, chains, belts, pneumatics)
Comfortable working in a food manufacturing or sanitary environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in confined spaces when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience fabricating equipment for food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries
Familiarity with 5S, HACCP, or food safety compliance standards
Ability to operate milling machines, lathes, or CNC tools (a plus)
Basic electrical knowledge or PLC troubleshooting (a plus)
