**Job Functions:**
+ This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
+ Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
+ Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.
+ Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for inspecting, maintaining , and repairing a variety of equipment to extend its serviceable life. This entry-level role supports facility operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance under guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in executing maintenance tasks.
• Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and assigned workspaces.

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Facility Technician I to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs on both facility systems and process equipment. Key Responsibilities
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems, utilities, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as issues arise.
- Assist with the installation, modification, calibration, and qualification of machinery and systems.
- Support maintenance of HVAC, compressed air, and utility infrastructure.
Operations Support
- Safely move, lift, and stage supplies, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed).
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant facility environment.
Technical Skills
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and engineering documents.
- Apply basic knowledge of electrical controls and instrumentation (experience a plus).
- Execute calibration activities in compliance with cGMP standards and document results accurately.
- Utilize Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management software for work orders, calibration, and preventive maintenance tracking.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Facilities and Manufacturing teams to ensure minimal downtime and smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in mechanics, electrical, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities, or mechanical/electrical repair (pharma or manufacturing experience a plus).
- Experience with equipment calibration activities in a regulated environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management software strongly preferred.

+ Inspect and repair clinker cooler parts, kiln parts, liners, center screens, main gearbox, diaphragms in the Finish Mill, bearings and rotors on separators, and parts on air conveyor systems.
+ Inspect and replace air slides, compressor couplings, screw conveyors, and conveyor parts.
+ Inspect and replace bags and cages in dust collectors and repair blower V-belts, filters, air cannons, and parts.
+ Inspect and replace fan and rotor bearing alignment and repair tables, bearings, and tires in the Raw Mill.
+ Inspect and repair pneumatic equipment and hydraulic systems using blueprints.
+ Perform precision alignment using dial indicators and lasers and routine management and documentation.
+ Perform rigging of heavy loads and operate a cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of recent industrial maintenance experience.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
+ Basic fabrication experience.
+ Strong skills in welding and operating cutting torch equipment.
+ Experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and bearings.

- Ensures that all SOPs are followed, and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met. Makes recommendations for improving SOPs.
- Trains employees on proper plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs and safe work practices.
- Monitors and reviews work performed by staff and recommends and coaches appropriate improvement.
- Performs advanced repairs on: turbine pumps, electrical motors and panels, centrifugal pumps and chemical feed systems.
- Performs sophisticated electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Prepares maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles and facilities
- Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience.
Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): SCBA, CSI, Crane and Forklift Operator, Rigging, Metal Cutting.
Technical : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions; Advanced knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrical circuits, wiring electronics & hydraulics, flange assembly, pump, packing & lubrication, relevant hand tools. Root Cause Failure Analysis; Knowledge of hazardous material handling. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications, internet & CMMS Systems. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in our client's state of the art facilities. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist with continued development of the Backflow Prevention Cross-Connection Program.
* Inspects sites for illegal water connection or cross connections and eliminates it by using proper connections and backflow prevention devices.
* Eliminates uncontrolled interconnections to the potable water supply/system.
* Educates the public concerning the backflow prevention program, devices used and proper connections.
* Maintains records, drawings, computer data files and associated information regarding the Backflow Prevention Program.
* Test and repair of backflows preventors and components by using industry standards and State Laws as a guideline.
* Follow backflow testing schedule as regulated by state laws.
* Uses Backflow Testing devices to ensure the proper testing of devices. Recommends replacement / repair of devices based on this evaluation. Performs a survey of accounts to establish our degree of exposure to contamination to the water system. Makes recommendations regarding Backflow prevention requirements for each account.
* Installs backflows to serve accounts. All installations are to be per applicable State and AWWA Regulations and Standards.
* Prioritize improvements to accounts with no improper backflow devices. Performs installations of waterlines to accomplish these upgrades.
* Assist in keeping detailed records of Backflow Devices.
* Respond to sewer cleanout and lift station calls during normal duty hours and on-call.
* Read water meters.
* Perform Spring/Fall Flushing of hydrants.
* Perform fire hydrant testing.

Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination to work on equipment, have vision sufficient to work on equipment; have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. In an 8-hour shift must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, climb and work off of a ladder or scaffold and climb into and out of vehicles having high ground clearance; use arms and back to tighten and loosen nuts and bolts; carry a 50 pound tool box up a flight of stairs; work in confined spaces and wear and use appropriate safety equipment.
