What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead and execute a portfolio of Innovation (NPD) or Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects. Emphasis will be on delivering projects on-time, within budget in a compliant and reliable manner
• Be accountable to deliver projects which will require and is not limited to building project plans, aligning stakeholders, managing the timeline, budget and driving team accountabilities to deliver the final project objectives, work with functional partners to define/align on the business case and project scope to support project execution, follow compliance defined through the PMO Governance process and tools
• Lead cross-functional project teams or work within a team, (which may include Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Packaging, Operations, Purchasing, Regulatory, Finance, and Planning), from project onset through post-implementation or launch activities
• Develop and implement project charters and metrics; obtain stakeholder alignment; identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans; be a source of conflict resolution
• Support in preparing and present project updates and stage-gate reviews at Governance forums
• Use strong business knowledge, technical skills and sound judgment to effectively assess risk, develop contingencies and determine when to elevate issues
• Utilize effective communication skills to appropriately inform various levels of the organization and team members in a timely manner
• Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned franchise, associated technologies and supply chain to ensure sound decision making from project chartering, through design, development and implementation, resulting in market successful products and reliable, cost-effective supply
• Utilize project metrics and lessons learned to improve business results and product launch processes in the region
• Develop a in depth understanding of various business processes, governances and supporting systems (Planisware) and the tools/templates used for project & portfolio management
• Be responsible to maintain the required project updates in Planisware (Project Portfolio Management System)

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 6 years of related business/work experience required.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques. Good working knowledge with all functions and services and possesses expertise within one or more supply chain areas or disciplines.
• Solid understanding of critical project and program management considerations (i.e., risk, compliance, change, release, etc.), and ability to factor them into decisions and recommendations.
• Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and the ability to assess the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, and costs.
• Functions independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate. Provides work process reviews and provides balanced/constructive feedback.

Desired Qualifications

• Cross-functional experience, for example, but not limited to R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing or Finance preferred
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel and Portfolio management software preferred
• Experience in a matrix team environment preferred
• Experience working in a CPG company preferred

Whats In It For You

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

Project Management Lead

This position will involve operational CPM-specific coordination of deliverables across 1-2 larger (Corporate Performance Management) CPM implementations concurrently. Project management leads will employ strong communication and organizational skills to efficiently coordinate the completion of each project's tasks and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Provide CPM-specific guidance to project team regarding risk mitigation and effective implementation of the project plan.
• Assist with creation and documentation of CPM strategies and approaches for key project workstreams and activities.
• Assist Executive Program Directors and Program Directors through the Mobilize and Create stages in conjunction with an Implementation Manager.
• Coordinate program tasks between workstreams and proactively identify risks and dependencies.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans with guidance from Finit project leadership, including critical path milestones and key project deliverables.
• Create project team communication plan, including frequency and participant listing for all regularly occurring project meetings.
• Set up and maintain key project management software tools, including document repositories and task-tracking tools.
• Own completion and tracking of key project documentation and deliverables.
• Maintain and track project budget and forecast using Finit's Analytics application.
• Coordinate with Finit and project team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Escalate risks to project delivery as needed to Finit and client leadership.
• Prepare timely status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify key lessons learned.
• Build and develop authentic client and Finit relationships.
• Ensure a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects.
• Provide real-time on-the-job feedback to team members. Communicate openly with clients to obtain real-time feedback.
• Participate in internal Finit activities.
• Assume ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.

Skills:

• Project Managers will typically have 2-4+ years of experience with CPM projects.
• Previous Project Management experience a plus.
• Highly organized and self-directed.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders within the expectations of Finit's core values.
• Energized by projects with high degree of uncertainty. Can manage this uncertainty appropriately for other team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous OneStream experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.
• CPA a plus.
