**Responsibilities**
As an **Accountant (Corp/Support)** in IT Business Management, you will be responsible for transactions to appropriately allocate IT related costs throughout Enterprise Mobility. To accomplish this, you will work closely with various Infrastructure and Application Development teams, IT leaders, corporate departments, suppliers, and the operating groups.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Gaining knowledge of cost activity for assigned area
+ Partnering with management of assigned area to understand discrepancies
+ Executing timely and accurate month-end closing process
+ Recording and reviewing expenses, adjustments, and accruals for validity and escalating discrepancies to senior staff or manager for resolution
+ Maintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards
+ Analyzing forecast vs. annual expenditures; identify and escalate variances
+ Analyzing data to identify cost saving opportunities
+ Assisting with task automation and process improvements, as directed
+ Collecting data needed for annual forecast
