As the Vice President in Finance & Business Management, you will optimize business performance by promoting key initiatives and acting as a trusted advisor to senior management. **Job responsibilities:**
+ Implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
+ Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives (fees, cost base, RWA and capital utilization)
+ Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business: e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs
+ Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
+ Partner with the business, Operations and Technology in the definition of future workflows and implementation of related technology and infrastructure projects to prepare the business to meet the requirements of an ever evolving market structure

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve Crisis Management Plans, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) in alignment to industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) across the organization to identify critical processes, systems, and quantify resilience metrics such as RPOs, RTOs, and MTDs
  • Identify, propose, defend, and help implement resilience strategies and solutions
  • Design, coordinate, and execute a risk-based multi-year testing calendar
  • Provide BCM program training throughout the enterprise to ensure awareness and readiness
  • Support the response and recovery processes following disruptive events
  • Produce monthly resilience metrics and reports for IT management and steering committee(s)

Qualifications:
  • Must Have

**Job Summary**
This position will act as the primary Asset Management Systems SME and collaborate with various personnel across several lines of business (Asset Management, T&D, IT, etc.) in order to set and maintain strict Data Quality standards for all T&D assets. The Head of Technology Risk Management will lead and oversee the firm's technology risk management function within the First Line of Defense, reporting directly to the Technology Business Unit Risk and Control Officer (BURCO). This executive role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide information risk management strategy to protect the firm's assets, information, and reputation. The First Line Business Unit Risk Manager is responsible for managing organizational risks through the design and implementation of appropriate mitigating controls.

  • Partner with monitoring owners to design and develop appropriate dashboards, reports, controls, etc. to detect potential breaks in the regulatory framework.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and raise points in a simple, and compelling way.
  • Produce reporting, used by Senior Management and control partners, to oversee the health of the regulatory framework.
  • Escalate findings within the team and manage follow-ups.
  • Drive or execute remediation(s) or corrective action, as needed.
  • Participate in the monitoring lifecycle and governance checkpoints by applying process improvement, organizational design, change management, and internal communication and training strategies.
  • Author procedures and job aides that support BTOM owned processes and training guides.
  • Organize ongoing roadmap of monitoring needs; embrace ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Serve as an alternate for record management responsibilities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, process improvement and or data analytics.
  • 2 + years of experience with the wealth management infrastructure, including advisors, client service, product, technology, operations, supervision, and controls.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking to understand large data sets, and complex business processes. Willingness to learn how to identify trends, themes, and opportunities from the information.
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • College degree (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with compliance, supervision, controls, and or legal initiatives.
