**EY | Financial Services Organization - Wealth & Asset Management Consulting**
**Senior Consultant - Asset & Wealth Management (with Private Markets Exposure)**
EY is a global leader in serving the financial services industry, and the only professional services firm with a dedicated business unit focused exclusively on financial services - the Financial Services Organization (FSO). Our specialized structure enables us to work at the forefront of change, helping clients across Banking & Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, and Insurance adapt to a rapidly evolving landscape.
Our purpose is to help build a financial services industry that is trusted, resilient, and transformative - one where institutions can flourish and contribute to a healthy global economy. If you're motivated by solving complex challenges, driving innovation, and shaping the future of financial services, we invite you to join our dynamic Asset & Wealth Management Consulting team.
**The Opportunity**
As part of our Asset & Wealth Management practice, you'll help clients better align their operating models, data, and technology with their business strategies. Our work spans the full investment value chain-from front-office strategy and product development to middle- and back-office transformation and digital enablement.
You'll serve both traditional and alternative asset managers, wealth platforms, and service providers, working on initiatives that enable efficiency, scale, and transparency. Increasingly, this includes supporting clients as they expand into Private Markets and semi-liquid alternative products-helping bridge the operational and regulatory complexities between public and private investments.
This is an opportunity to build deep expertise across a diverse set of asset classes while developing future-ready consulting skills in operations, technology, data, and regulatory change.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support clients across the investment management lifecycle, from product development and investment operations to fund accounting, data management, and reporting.
+ Help design and implement target operating models that improve scalability, cost efficiency, and governance across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
+ Participate in technology-enabled transformations, including system selection and implementation (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, Geneva, Investran, eFront, or equivalent).
+ Work with clients on emerging areas such as outsourcing strategy, automation, and digital operating models.
+ Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing within the team, particularly around market convergence between traditional and alternative investments.
+ Collaborate closely with colleagues across service lines to bring integrated EY solutions spanning operations, data, risk, finance, and technology.
**Skills and Attributes for Success**
+ Solid understanding of the asset and wealth management industry, including investment operations, product structures, and client segments.
+ Interest or experience in Private Markets and Alternatives (e.g., Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or secondaries) as the industry expands access to non-traditional products.
+ Ability to translate complex business and operational requirements into practical, technology-enabled solutions.
+ Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into actionable insights for clients.
+ Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced consulting environments.
**To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or related discipline; MBA or MS preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in:
+ A traditional or alternative asset management firm, fund administrator, or wealth platform, or
+ Financial services consulting with exposure to investment operations or technology transformation.
+ Familiarity with investment systems such as Aladdin, Charles River, Eagle, eFront, Investran, Geneva, etc.
+ Experience with process improvement, system implementation, project management, or middle-office outsourcing.
+ Strong interpersonal, presentation, and client service skills.
+ Willingness to travel as required; valid driver's license and passport.
**Ideally, You'll Also Have**
+ Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 or other global professional services firm.
+ Exposure to Private Markets operations, fund structures, or investor reporting.
+ Understanding of how digital platforms, automation, and data solutions are transforming the investment management ecosystem.
+ Experience assessing vendor solutions or service providers for fund accounting, data management, or performance measurement.
+ Interest in the intersection of public and private markets, and how firms are evolving to serve institutional and wealth clients more effectively.
**What We Look For**
We're looking for passionate, curious professionals who combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll have the autonomy to drive meaningful change for clients while collaborating with peers across EY's global network.
If you're excited by the opportunity to work across traditional and alternative investments - and to help define the operating models powering the future of Asset & Wealth Management - this role is for you.
**What we look for**
We're interested in highly motivated talented individuals with a strong willingness to think outside of the box. You can expect plenty of autonomy in this role, so you'll need the motivation to take initiative and seek out opportunities to improve our current relationships and expand our business in the evolving market. If you're serious about consulting and ready to take on some of our clients' most complex issues, this role is for you.
