This position offers a hybrid work environment, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring a semi-regular on-site presence as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.
**Responsibilities**
As an **Accountant (Corp/Support)** in IT Business Management, you will be responsible for transactions to appropriately allocate IT related costs throughout Enterprise Mobility. To accomplish this, you will work closely with various Infrastructure and Application Development teams, IT leaders, corporate departments, suppliers, and the operating groups.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Gaining knowledge of cost activity for assigned area
+ Partnering with management of assigned area to understand discrepancies
+ Executing timely and accurate month-end closing process
+ Recording and reviewing expenses, adjustments, and accruals for validity and escalating discrepancies to senior staff or manager for resolution
+ Maintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards
+ Analyzing forecast vs. annual expenditures; identify and escalate variances
+ Analyzing data to identify cost saving opportunities
+ Assisting with task automation and process improvements, as directed
+ Collecting data needed for annual forecast

**Qualifications**
Required:
+ Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

+ Must meet one of the following education requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
+ Master's Degree in Accounting
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business with a Concentration in Accounting
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business, with experience as an Enterprise Accountant
+ 1+ years of related experience
+ Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables

This role is integral to helping clients enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance through meticulous process analysis and redesign. The successful candidate will have a strong background in identifying inefficiencies, implementing lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and driving sustainable process improvements across various business functions and industries. You will lead client engagements, develop strategic recommendations, and guide implementation efforts to achieve measurable results.
