We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Corporate Communications to support the EVP, Communications, UTEG in shaping and executing integrated, cross-business corporate narratives that elevate the company's reputation, and strategic priorities. This leader will collaborate closely with communications directors, managers, and cross-functional partners to drive data-driven storytelling, manage media relations, and provide backup leadership in crisis communications.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Narrative Development:
+ Partner with the EVP to craft and implement compelling, cohesive corporate narratives that span multiple business units.
+ Lead the development of cross-company storytelling initiatives that align with corporate strategy and brand values.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and platforms.
Data-Driven Storytelling:
+ Work with communications directors/managers and analytics teams to identify insights and trends that inform storytelling.
+ Translate complex data into accessible, engaging narratives for internal and external audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Serve as a key liaison with Legal, Labor Relations, Government Affairs, Research, and Production teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in communications.
+ Support labor negotiations with fluency in labor dynamics and stakeholder sensitivities.
Crisis Communications:
+ Act as a secondary lead in crisis situations, supporting the EVP in rapid response, message development, and media engagement.
+ Maintain readiness protocols and scenario planning for potential reputational risks.
Media Relations:
+ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists, particularly in the entertainment and television sectors.
Industry Expertise:
+ Bring deep knowledge of the television and broader entertainment industry to inform communications strategy and positioning.
+ Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
Basic Requirements:
+ Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
Desired Characteristics:
+ Proven track record in developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
+ Strong understanding of labor relations, legal frameworks, and policy issues relevant to the entertainment industry.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

**What Will You Do?**
Internal Communications:
+ Collaborate with the Hill's corporate communications team in creating and delivering innovative communication campaigns and projects - including brainstorming, routes for delivery, user experience, messages/design to support the project goals.
+ Assist in creating email, newsletters, digital signage, presentation materials, printed materials, toolkits, intranet pages, and more.

**Compensation and Benefits**

What You'll Do:
Providing communications support NGA Human Development (HD) Directorate. The individual will be matrixed to one of five HD offices providing communication support while aligning to HD communication guidance. Specifically, the Corporate Communications Officer will support the Human Development Strategic (HDS) office, or the Analytic Capabilities Office, responsible for providing communication support to all HD offices including the HD Front Office. This office is responsible for HD strategy and policy, Technical Integration to include HD requirements for PeopleSoft enhancements, Advanced Analytic support including analyzing surveys and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement internal and external communications.
+ Proactively identify and implement marketing strategies.
+ Based on awareness and understanding of NGA mission and operations tempo, identify and reach out to potential users and user groups.
+ Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages.
+ Tailor messages by target audience.

+ Provide presentation support to HD Office leadership. Qualifications

**Job Description**
This position is pivotal in advancing Olympus business objectives and managing reputation by leading agenda setting, public relations, including social media and internal engagement activities for the Gastrointestinal Solutions (GIS) Division. This role partners closely with GIS leadership to deliver aligned, impactful messaging tailored to global and regional needs, overseeing strategy, operations, budget management, and optimization for these disciplines in the larger context of the main business Gastrointestinal Solutions (GIS), ensuring alignment with the company's global direction while tailoring strategies for application areas, or different locations.
Responsibilities include identifying media opportunities, supporting M&As, managing issue & crisis communications, and orchestrating internal engagement efforts. The role ensures compliance with legal measures, drives brand alignment, and represents the company globally. Reporting to the Vice President Communications, Global, this individual contributor position enhances brand messaging to employees, customers, and stakeholders, develops complex communication plans, and collaborates daily with the GIS Division heads.
**Job Duties**
+ Contributes to divisional and functional business objectives, priorities, and orchestrates all types of communications according to global communications frameworks.
+ Proactively identifies and pitches PR and social media opportunities to the respective subject matter teams within Global Communications.
+ Owns internal messaging, drives channel adoption and ensures consistent cascade of communication throughout the division - including those required for organizational changes or M&A integration.
+ Drives comprehensive communication support for all leadership activities ensuring clear information flow, employee engagement and retention, and executive visibility, including, through internal and external social media channels.
+ Collaborates closely with content creators and the larger Communications team to orchestrate communications throughout the matrix organization and ensure alignment with global and regional strategies.
+ Owns and manages KPIs, continuously assessing communication effectiveness and driving improvements to meet evolving business needs.
+ Oversees GIS communications operations, including budget management, legal and regulatory compliance, and alignment of brand messaging across internal and external audiences.
+ Manages issue and crisis communications and helps shape the division's global reputation and brand positioning in collaboration with GIS leadership.
**Job Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, English, Marketing or similar subjects.
+ Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor's or 12 years' experience with a master's degree.
+ Cross-cultural understanding, change management capability, remote/lateral leadership.
+ Ability to mitigate conflicting views and lead for solutions.
+ Initial/lateral leadership skills visible and ability to drive cultural development and role model inclusive leadership as well as demonstrate an empowering attitude.
+ High understanding of M365 Suite and communicative landscape, tactics, and driver for true engagement.
+ Ability to laterally lead cross-regional teams with cross-cultural understanding.
+ Occasional global travel may be necessary; willingness to undertake short-term assignments abroad.
**Preferred:**
+ Master's degree a plus.
+ Bi/tri-lingual a plus.
+ Proven expertise in internal communications strategy and execution required; change communication experience preferred.
+ Familiarity with the healthcare industry preferred.
