Position Summary:
C.E. Precision Assemblies, a Trexon Company, is hiring for a Manufacturing Assembler at their Chandler, AZ location. The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling complex wire harnesses and mechanical components by interpreting drawings, using manual and automatic tools, and adhering to industry and in-house standards. This position requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Use & Skill Development
- Learn and apply assembly tools and techniques effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Use hand and automatic crimp tools.
- Install boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers.
- Measure wire lengths using calipers, scales, and tape measures.
- Operate heat guns with correct settings for shrink applications.
- Perform soldering using traditional and resistive soldering tools.
- Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve skills, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Build wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to print.
- Crimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools.
- Follow all drawing requirements, general and flag notes, travelers, and work instructions.
- Comply with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03-training provided if needed).
- Document work accurately and completely in production travelers.
Required:
- Soldering experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments
- Willingness to participate in training and learn specialized techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in cable or wire harness assembly
- Knowledge of IPC-620 or J-STD-001 standards
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform detailed assembly work
- Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols required in production area

Ensures continuity of quality processes in the manufacture of MGC Diagnostics products. Assists in the training and orientation of new employees. - Perform light assembly and/or basic machining operations according to work assignment description and scheduling.
- Follow the production and quality procedures by following prints and checking materials for defects, maintain production.

- Inspect work to validate quality and accuracy
