Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Location: Tulsa, OK area (on-site)

Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri

Salary: $25-30/hr

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting engineering and production teams by ensuring the accuracy of manufacturing data in SAP. This role serves as a liaison across engineering, planning, operations, and supply chain to maintain data integrity and support efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP & Master Data Management

• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and routing data in SAP

• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity across the system

• Manage Engineering Change (EC) processes and update SAP records accordingly

• Generate reports to support engineering and operations decision-making

Engineering Change & Documentation Control

• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through formal change management workflows

• Maintain accurate records of technical drawings, specifications, and revision histories

• Organize and archive engineering documentation in line with company standards

Administrative & Process Support

• Prepare purchase requisitions for tools, equipment, and engineering supplies

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing relevant data

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment

• Proven experience with BOM and routing creation/maintenance

• Solid understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering teams directly

• Familiarity with engineering change control and documentation workflows

• Understanding of production planning and inventory management

• Ability to interpret and manage technical drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with PCB, LCD, IC, and/or MEMS manufacturing processes is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Purpose:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support Sanmina's printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing by performing crucial production-related data analysis. As a Manufacturing Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in creating data preparation and collection plans based on our comprehensive company database. You will then leverage your strong analytical skills to dissect this data, identifying strengths, weaknesses, yield trends, bottlenecks, process interdependencies, and opportunities for significant production enhancement. Working under the guidance of the VP of PCB Technology and reporting to Sanmina PCB corporate senior management, you will also have the chance to lead impactful projects in collaboration with Sanmina PCB plants and the corporate team. Salary Range (annual) : $85,000.00 - $121,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. • Requires a Bachelor's degree, ideally in a chemical or process engineering or computer science-related major with a minimum of 5 years' experience or 10 years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Lean certification is a plus.

• Automation of both packaging and batch manufacturing equipment experience is desired in a similar industry.
• Programming experience with various control systems is a plus.
• Understanding the importance of critical process parameters and their value in controlling a robust manufacturing process is advantageous
• Has a working knowledge of Process Control systems (PCS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Experience with TrakSYS from Parsec Automation is highly desirable.
• Experience in Kepware-based OPC server integration and programming is desired.
• Experience improving processes through integrated information systems and providing actionable data for decision making (OEE, SPC, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL, HTML, JAVA, C#, CSS, and other programming languages is helpful.
• Understanding of Microsoft Power BI reporting and integration with shopfloor data collection systems required.
• Experience in integrating discrete controls system.
• Some understanding of Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous
• A basic understanding of AI systems and how they may provide benefits in a production environment is beneficial.
