Job Specific Duties:

• Initial management of efforts to transfer Tooling, Parts and Products to new facility.

• Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.

• Develop, document and implement standard work instructions for critical manufacturing operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant degree.

• Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card.

• 3 or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering.

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and/or brazing of pressure containing products.

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as, Military, Aerospace, Nuclear or Automotive or other similar.

• Excellent people and communication skills are required (both oral and written).

• Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation

• Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or electronics.
• Strong understanding of validation methodologies, quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA QSR), and GMP requirements.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, PFMEA, and root cause methodologies.
