**What You Will Do:**
Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military jet engines, is seeking a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer to join our organization. The role will be in New Product Introductions (NPI) responsible for supporting the manufacture of new & experimental engine components by our supplier base. This critical role will report to the Global Supply Chain Operational Excellence (OpX) organization and bridges design engineering and supply chain by driving technical excellence, process capability and continuous improvement with our manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities:
+ Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and assess Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) within P&W Supply Base.
+ Collaborate with P&W's Integrated Product Team (IPT) design engineering, quality and procurement to address manufacturability concerns and drive cost-effective solutions.
+ Evaluate new engineering designs and changes to establish the MRL advancement plan and certification, including evaluations of tooling, equipment, special test and inspection requirements, to ensure smooth integration into the supplier's production processes.
+ Identify and provide guidance on manufacturing methods that will lead to strengthened process controls, increased throughput and improved quality at suppliers.
+ Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or delivery issues.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
+ U.S. citizenship
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
+ Knowledge of aerospace composite fabrication, manufacturing, special processes, inspection methods and process controls. Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Working knowledge of prepreg materials, vacuum bagging, autoclave/oven curing and clean room practices.
+ Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and quality standards.

**A Day in the Life**
The Digitalization Engineer will play a critical role in advancing our digital transformation roadmap through the implementation and optimization of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) strategy. This position is responsible for testing and optimizing system configurations, supporting the integration of new products and production lines, and contributing to the successful deployment of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives.

+ Develop and Configure MES Workflows for Deployment on new areas.
+ Write and Execute UAT Test Scripts
+ Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to validate MES solutions meet business needs.
+ Adapt and configure MES to accommodate new products, equipment, and production processes.
+ Maintain and Optimize Existing MES Configurations
+ Work closely with production, quality, automation, and IT teams to align MES capabilities with operational goals
+ Attend CM sprint review meetings to evaluate and identify new MES features for site integration.
+ PowerBI Dashboard Develop
+ Analyze system data to uncover process inefficiencies and support Lean, Six Sigma, and OEE initiatives.
+ Assist in implementing OEE solutions and monitor performance trends to identify and act on improvement opportunities.
**Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES):** Hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing MES solutions.
**Data & Analytics:** Strong proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake for building dashboards, reports, and advanced data models.
**Continuous Improvement:** Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including the ability to apply analytical and problem-solving techniques to drive process efficiency and quality improvements.
**Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:** Demonstrated ability to analyze system and process data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
**Collaboration & Communication:** Experience working cross-functionally with operations, quality, automation, and IT teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities:
+ With specific parts ownership, this role will drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple process steps that spans the full value stream of the parts.
+ Provide focused & effective leadership in the advancement of MRL elements to drive manufacturing risk identification and mitigation to achieve superior quality performance.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field and 10 years of prior relevant experience or master's degree in engineering or related technical field and 8 years of prior relevant experience.
+ Experience in general machining including turning, milling, and grinding
+ Experience in technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities, leading and managing a portfolio of cross functional projects

**What You Will Do:**
The **Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer** will provide support to manufacturing operations and drive process improvement to improve the company's quality and delivery signature utilizing quality metrics. The Senior Process Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for specific special processes across the value stream. Primary responsible processes will include CBN Coating, Waterjet and Extrude Hone. Additional processes may include but are not limited to Surface Media Finish. The scope of this role will include PW internal shop and may also include supply chain support components.
+ With specific process ownership, this role will provide direct support to the manufacturing shop floor and drive multiple manufacturing process improvements across specific process steps that spans the full value stream of the parts.
+ Identify & implement process optimization & control methods to eliminate/prevent quality turn backs /escapes and reduce overall product costs.
+ Perform Root cause analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming product for responsible processes using statistical analysis tools and other methods as necessary.
+ Drive targeted manufacturing process optimization activities through MRL tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis, Yield & Cost curves and Qualification plan.
+ Support the project pipeline process to select, prioritize and scope projects to business objectives, integrated with other continuous improvement activities and CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) initiatives.
+ Lead significant projects critical to improve manufacturing process capability & quality performance
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, quality or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, quality or closely related industrial environment
+ Demonstrated technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities
+ Experience reading and interpreting drawings and industry specifications

• Microsoft: Office 365; SharePoint; Teams; Visio; and OneNote preferred.
• Working knowledge of UKG-UltiPro and Workday a plus.
• Ability to operate media equipment such as tablets, smartphones, and other electronic equipment.
• Ability to work with general office equipment.
• Ability to work with and understand databases a must and the ability to learn technical skills.
