• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection, and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in the upkeep of the building.
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpet, and HVAC
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of ceilings, furniture, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items.
• Perform general grounds keeping on a daily basis; inspect outside of Distribution Center areas, ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required.
• Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, and MSD Sheets.
• May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate all hazards

• Must have practical experience in HVAC
• Must have practical carpentry experience with an emphasis in drywall, painting, framing.

• Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects.
• Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
• Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, vise, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.
• Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence.
• Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and considerations.
• Completes required paperwork and documentation for shipping, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Places merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts, box trucks, and pallet jacks for large goods.
• Inspects shipping containers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
• Assembles daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
• Performs light facility maintenance tasks, including:
  • Replacing HVAC filters
  • Basic plumbing (e.g., unclogging drains, tightening fixtures)
  • Minor electrical support (e.g., replacing bulbs, assisting with minor repairs)
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment.
• Adheres to all applicable safety regulations and best practices.

• Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to identify colors.
• Experience operating forklifts is required (certification preferred).
• Experience driving a box truck is required.
• Experience with basic facility maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)

Your Role: Manufacturing Facilities Technician

Your Responsibilities:  

• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company standards and regulations for safety and efficiency.

• Monitor and control facility utilities, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement improvements for utility systems, trouble shooting and repairing as needed; maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge in the field.

• Coordinate and schedule external vendors for specialized repairs and preventative maintenance visits

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):  

• Education: Technical degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or at least 3+ years of practical experience in utilities and manufacturing services.

• Experience : Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Top Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems and ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
