This position will be primarily responsible for production floor support and process improvement for the machining of complex, tight tolerance components utilizing CNC controlled lathes, mills, and grinding equipment. Additional responsibilities include procurement of new equipment to support capacity uplifts and new programs as well as quoting of new business. This position plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluations, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. This requires devising new approaches to problems encountered.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Standard Duties :
- Process owner of a designated departmental process. Fully responsibility for a department that provides a reliable, stable and sustainable process as it relates to machinery, gaging, quality, tooling, capacity, and documentation, etc.
- Leads the new product launch team which is responsible for designing manufacturing plans including operator work content, machine capability, quality checks and information flow.
- Leads the department planning team for capacity planning and capital forecasting.
- Determines parts, tools, and gaging needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
- Evaluates machine builders through site visits, demonstrated capability and financial factors for the purpose of purchasing new equipment due to replacing current older equipment of for more capacity.
- Procures and writes all purchase requisitions for new machining, assembly and test equipment. Responsible for quoting, developing and qualifying the machine at the machine builder.
- Once the machine is onsite the persons leads the machine installation (developing the install plan and layouts), robotic integration, runoff and handoff to full time production.
- Ongoing support of equipment after full time production to include modifications for efficiency, capability and continuous improvement; Any issues that pertain to safety issues through troubleshooting and problem solving. Provides the proper support to the department to achieve the proper 5S levels
- Collaborates and supports the Area Production Leader (APL) for the department by attending the required daily meetings. Leads with the APL as they work together to improve the departmental financial metrics.
- Daily supports production and maintenance due to machine downtime through trouble shooting and problem-solving different machine systems:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Hydraulic
- Pneumatic
- Coolant
- Respond to downtime due to tooling issues through troubleshooting and problem solving. Works with each of the tooling vendors to provide the proper designed tooling in the department.
- Actively support any downtime as it pertains to quality issues through troubleshooting and problem solving using different problem-solving applications like 8D, 6 Sigma, etc.
- Dispositions of the parts on hold as it pertains to rework or to be scrapped.
- Daily supports the incoming material suppliers if quality issues happen.
- Plans and designs manufacturing processes to produce cost reductions which maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Will lead multiple cost reduction projects.
- Writes the required AR narratives to justify the funding needed for cost reductions.
- Utilizes knowledge of GD&T, metrology, metallurgy and assembly and test processes to provide feedback to the product development team on manufacturability and create solutions to issues that arise throughout the review process. Works with the design engineers to reduce cost on current projects and the developmental of future products.
- Assists manufacturing associates by provided the training to the team leads and operators within the department.
- Writes add to stocks to make sure we have the correct spare parts on hand.
- Develops/updates the required documents like process sheets, control plans, FMEA's, FPPA, tool sheets, job instructions, etc. Responsible for all process documentation.
- Supports all shifts for manufacturing during the week and weekends, if necessary.
- Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice. Controls a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements

We are searching for a construction leader for our Advanced Manufacturing Core Market (AMCM) for the Charlotte-Greenville business unit, specifically focused on the development and growth of the Advanced Manufacturing markets within the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina. We are seeking a candidate to supplement and collaborate with the local teams in our Greenville, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina offices.
The candidate should have approximately 15 years' Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) experience in the construction industry, with a focus on the Advanced Manufacturing market, and a broad understanding of the clients, range of delivery means, and methods utilized in the Carolinas. Experience should include projects ranging from small cap to $150M+ in total installed cost.
Candidate should exhibit strong people skills suitable for attracting and retaining personnel, as well as developing and maintaining strong client relationships. One could come from peer EPC organizations, industry suppliers or clients, but must have direct construction experience in the Advanced Manufacturing market.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this position one will engage with regional and core market leadership. Additionally, they will serve as point of contact for AMCM clients who are expecting a "one DPR" project delivery execution approach across various projects. Responsible for the growth, development and sharing of resources across the local AMCM.

Work with Business Unit, Regional and Core Market Leaders to identify core market customers & projects we should pursue and create strategies for the Business Unit. Maintain awareness of all core market-related pursuits and ensure they have what they need to be successful including lessons learned data. Participate in pursuits, RFP responses and presentations. Communicate initiatives that will further differentiate DPR and build our competitive advantages. Ensure sales & marketing materials remain current & of high quality. Participate in Advanced Manufacturing organizations, events and networking opportunities.
Do Work
Engage at a project-level by diving in and providing support and direction to ensure customer satisfaction and project performance. Develop a methodology for continuously capturing core-market specific lessons learned & getting those lessons back out to all projects. Drive the utilization of new construction technology, modular, and pre-fab approaches to ensure we are being innovative. Engage during preconstruction to ensure consistency in approach and Subject Matter Expertise with respect to buyout of trade packages. Have an operations role on specific projects and stay accountable to the project team for performance of that role.
Take Care of People
Stay connected to all AM SMEs, involve them in core market activities, ensure their development, & contribute to their annual performance appraisals. Find ways to keep employees informed and excited about what's going on within the core market (presentations, trainings, email updates, Town Halls, celebrations, etc.). Work with BUL's and Regional Leaders to determine short and long-term core market talent needs across DPR, whether to staff projects in flight or in the future. Engage with the talent team in the identification, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of core market team members. Develop and grow our talent pool through coaching, training and championing DPR culture and core values. Be a pillar of the workplace and create a professional environment that is both enjoyable and exciting.

The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring all processes are managed/operating within the set process control requirements, completing detailed analysis of any cells/modules that fallout of the control limits.
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager the person in this role will support the quality control department's objective to support the manufacturing team in producing the highest quality product to exceed our customers expectations.
What youll be doing
· Support creation and execution of quality hoshin to support achievement of company's safety, quality, productivity, and cost KPIs.
· Support/Set strategic direction to ensure our in-house process meet all design/process control specifications.
· Audit our in-house processes to design/process control specifications.
· Partner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to strengthen quality systems.
· Complete detailed root cause analysis and lead the implementation of countermeasures for any product that falls outside the normal product distribution.
· Ensure quality management system requirements are being met.
· Collaborate closely with other groups to promote a strong kaizen culture to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Skills and Requirements
· Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical degree or seven years of automotive engineering experience.
· 3+ years of Quality Manufacturing experience
· Manufacturing quality support for assembly, machining, paint, body weld, or stamping experience.
· Experience creating and implementing quality processes in a manufacturing environment.
· Technical problem-solving ability (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP, DMAIC, etc.).
· Experience with detailed schedule creation and utilization for capital projects greater than $50K.
· Previous experience planning and implementing mass production quality support for production lines greater than 9K capacity per month.
· Ability to use Excel or other software for data analysis and statistics. Manufacturing/Assembly environment experience

What you'll do
* Help support, implement, and continuously improve the one part one process (1P1P) strategy
* Ability to delivery strategic initiatives working cross functionally
* Support and drive technology teams across the factory
* Help maintain the development area for product and process implementation
* Hire and develop talent including direct people management
* Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and Roadmap initiatives

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
* Minimum of 8 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment

Pay Transparency
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $122,600.00 - $204,400.0 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
