Staffmark is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Manufacturing Automation Technician for a growing facility in Willis, TX. Pay: $30-$35/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and program Allen Bradley PLCs with precision.
- Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and resolve issues related to faulty wiring or malfunctioning equipment.
- Optimize servo systems and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) devices.
- Conduct general building repairs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and structural maintenance.
- Utilize root cause analysis and lateral thinking to solve recurring issues and prevent downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance, document repair activities, and keep systems running at peak performance.
- Use a variety of tools including multimeters, man-lifts, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with other technicians and departments.
What You Bring:
- 5-8 years of experience as a building or facility maintenance technician
- NEC certification (National Electrical Code compliant)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of industrial systems
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience using Preventative Maintenance Software is a plus
- Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at ceiling heights using hydraulic man-lifts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

A global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. IT Manufacturing Applications Specialist in the Woodlands, TX area. This person will be responsible for managing around a dozen or so applications within the organization's Central Manufacturing area of the business, including but not limited to: AspenTech, RAPNET, Meridian, OSI Pi and AutoCAD. This person will be responsible for full lifecycle management of global or regional strategic apps, testing & deployment, rationalization, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring proper documentation.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of IT Application and Infrastructure Support, ideally relating to critical Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, or Quality apps
Experience with complete lifecycle management of applications including: planning and requirements gathering, rationalization, testing and deployment, operations and maintenance, retirement
Knowledge of / familiarity with OSI 7-layer Model
Experience with Virtual Desktop technologies (Azure, VMWare, HyperV, etc.)
Understanding of servers, storage, backups, high availability, fault tolerance, as well as firewalls & cyber security best practices
Strong understanding of networking: what is a VLAN/DMZ, layer 3 switch, subnetting, packet flows
Experience with SSH/key skills: distributing/generating keys, understanding of where they are stored on connecting computers
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation Experience with: AspenTech, RAPNET, Meridian, OSI Pi or AutoCAD
