- Support the manufacturing processes with specialized knowledge in power transformers.

- Create real-time transparency for ad-hoc analysis, instant decision making, preventive action and continuous improvement.
- Conduct on-the-job training for manufacturing staff, based on detected deviation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of business and manufacturing documentation, ensuring processes and procedures are accurately followed.
- Create transparent and open environment for quality culture together with process owners.
- Foster continuous improvement initiatives, applying pertinent methodologies to enhance product quality.
- Give guidance that risks are identified, considered and controlled throughout the design and the use of the quality management system.
- Ensure effective cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- 8 or more years of experience in manufacturing Power Transformers. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards specific to the Transformers manufacturing industry.
- Experience with quality tools such as FMEA and 8D.
- Willingness to work different shift schedules.
- Willingness to travel abroad for training.
- If not already located in the Charlotte, NC area, must be willing to relocate.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform visual inspections at various magnifications using magnifiers, microscopes, and related tools
+ Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated before use
+ Maintain a clean and organized inspection station

+ Identify, segregate, and initiate Discrepancy Reports for nonconforming product
+ Comply with stamp control and sample traceability procedures
+ Review and understand new and revised specifications as required
