Position Overview – Business Development Specialist (Manufacturing Division): We are seeking qualified candidates for an Inside Sales Representative to do B2B calls for one or more of the following industries: OEM, steel, chemical, or gas industry, industrial machine equipment sales, automation, electronics, rubber, plastic extrusion, injection, or the blow molding industry. The ideal candidate must have previous B2B sales experience, be a self-starter, competitive, driven, articulate, thoughtful, and have experience speaking to all levels of management and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Find new opportunities and build the sales pipeline through strategic prospect management, cold-calling, and emailing.

The Department of Biology and Chemistry invites applications for adjunct Biology faculty to teach courses in General Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Cell Biology, and/or Genetics at the undergraduate level.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to deliver laboratory instruction in the manner determined by the department. In addition, faculty responsibilities may include:

Preparation of syllabus and teaching of curriculum according to the goals and objectives of the department as communicated by the primary full-time faculty member for the course.

Student advising, prompt email correspondence, and office hours in relation to the course load carried, and as assigned in the faculty teaching assignment.

Participation in faculty meetings and departmental activities as identified by the lead professor for the course, department chair or program director.

Timely assessment of student mastery of material and submission of final lab and/or course grades from evaluation of tests, quizzes, homework, and other assignments and activities related to course material.

Work with teaching assistants that are providing supplemental instruction for the course.

Submit evaluation forms completed by students in the course at the end of each semester.

Responsible for daily electronic timekeeping as it applies to the scope of this position.
Qualifications
- Must have a master’s degree (or equivalent) or terminal degree in the field of Biology or related area.
- Preferred experience includes teaching at the college or university level.
- The ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Azusa Pacific University.
Workload
Assigned teaching duties will not exceed 9 units per semester; office hours and additional duties may be assigned. Total workload will not exceed 29 hours per week, nor 24 units per 12-month period.
