We're seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Systems Technician to be the on-site "face of IT" on a high-volume production floor. You'll support and interface with a large and diverse machine/device ecosystem (2,000+ endpoints), keep data flows healthy (shares, IP addressing, connectivity), document solutions in a knowledge base, and deliver outstanding customer service to operations teams. The ideal candidate blends hands-on manufacturing systems experience with solid IT fundamentals and clear, confident communication.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary IT contact on the shop/production floor; provide high-touch customer support to manufacturing users.
• Triage, resolve, and track tickets in ServiceNow (approx. 70% in-person floor support / 30% remote support across global teams).
• Support and troubleshoot connectivity to machine interfaces and attached devices (2,000+): shared folders, IP configurations, network reachability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for repeatable fixes and runbooks.
• Leverage SQL, Python, and VBScript for data queries, simple automations, reporting, and tooling.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and global IT to prioritize issues, communicate ETAs, and prevent repeat incidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across monitoring, documentation quality, and ticket hygiene.

Position Overview:

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking an IT Manufacturing Senior Business/System Analyst to partner with the manufacturing business leads to understand their business processes and requirements to design and deliver IT solutions. Keen problem solving, effective process development, and continued commitment to improve manufacturing system processes will be integral to achieving the role's objectives. This role will require close communication with manufacturing and internal/external IT teams in delivering manufacturing capabilities. The Analyst will provide Digital solutions for the operations sites within Brunswick Boat Group (BBG). This position designs, delivers and leads IoT, advanced analytical solutions as well as Digital Manufacturing.

Additionally, this role will partner with the Site Services team for Physical Security Systems implementation and management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for introducing and applying AI technologies to optimize operations and related activities.

Essential Functions:

• Technology & Systems Design Design and implement advanced manufacturing solutions—including AI-driven predictive analytics, connected worker tools, and shop floor connectivity. Modernize legacy systems using Cloud, IIoT, and Industrial Cloud technologies.

• Collaboration & Strategic Alignment Partner with the Enterprise Architect team and the Advanced Manufacturing Center of Competence (COC) to align solutions with enterprise strategy, technical roadmaps, and AI adoption initiatives.

• Process & Systems Analysis Analyze current manufacturing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Integrate new technologies, including AI and machine learning, ensuring feasibility, compatibility, and measurable impact.

• Data & Decision Intelligence Collect, manage, and analyze manufacturing data to support real-time decision-making and continuous improvement. Develop AI-enhanced dashboards and data models to monitor performance metrics.

• Project & Stakeholder Management Lead end-to-end projects for advanced manufacturing systems. Ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication with stakeholders.

• Requirements & Documentation Elicit and validate functional requirements, document workflows, and support testing, training, and user adoption—ensuring alignment with business and IT goals.

• Training & Support Provide training and ongoing support for new systems and AI-enabled technologies to ensure effective use and maintenance.

• Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using AI insights to optimize manufacturing operations.

• Security Systems Collaboration Collaborate with Site Services to implement and maintain physical security systems, integrating with broader digital infrastructure where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

• Minimum 8–10 years work experience in Manufacturing related systems.

• Experienced in managing projects and coordinating strong cross-functional collaborations.

• Highly organized, with proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment.

• Strong business acumen, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

• Willingness to work in both legacy and modern systems as the business transforms.

• 1-3 year IoT of installing or building sensor experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization; effectively communicate complex matters in simply understood terms.

• Ability to visually present and communicate data and recommendations.

• Comfortable and able to thrive in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional work experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst focused on manufacturing floor.

• Previous experience in configuring and developing IIOT and MES solutions leveraging Ignition is an added advantage.

• Experience as a manufacturing engineer.

• Exposure in implementing manufacturing production enterprise software systems.

• Six Sigma or Lean Certification.

• Experience with IIOT analytics, shop floor tools, manufacturing robots.

• Experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, and/or JIRA.

• Experience with Azure IOT Framework.

• Knowledge of physical security systems and protocols.

• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in manufacturing settings.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,900-$160,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive program.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

The Specialist works cross-functionally to execute validation activities and prepare validation deliverables for S12 Enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (EMES) used in cell therapy manufacturing. This role is primarily an individual contributor but will routinely support project and production works.
The Specialist will partner with site Business Owners, CI Owners, Quality, and the global EMES team to create, manage, and improve computerized systems/Recipes validation deliverables for electronic systems, applications, and associated controls to maintain data integrity supporting ALCOA+ principles throughout the CSV lifecycle.

The Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the validation of the S12 Enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (EMES), and applications are done following the relevant Client procedures, such as CSV SOP but no limited and applicable health authority regulations.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Sound understanding of Electronic Batch Records (EBR) and Review by Exception (RBE) and Recipe Authoring/Validation.
• Ability to work extended hours or a modified work schedule to assist manufacturing operations support model, including 12x7 on-call support rotation
• Knowledge of cGMP, GxP, GAMP, and SDLC regulations, including 21CFR part 11 electronic records and electronic signatures, and good documentation practices with the ALCOA+ principles of data integrity, risk-based approaches to validation, Computer Software Assurance (CSA) principles
• Understanding the concept of Critical thinking for Computerized Systems
• Familiar with the development of CSV documentation (Validation Plans, Requirements, Design / Configuration Specifications, Test Scripts (IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT), Summary Reports, Trace Matrices, SOPs)
• Experience with MES infrastructure, ALM and Veeva document/change management systems and middleware WebMethods
• With advanced technical document writing and time management skills, including ability to prioritize and manage expectations
• Operate effectively and with minimal supervision, within a team or independently, performing projects and related duties

Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a life sciences, engineering or technology discipline preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years relevant work experience required preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.
