What you'll be doing as a Assembly Line Lead:

Supervise a team of on a food packaging assembly line
-
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure packaged food meets company and federal safety standards
-
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues (e.g., conveyor belt noise, barcode scanner malfunctions, jammed equipment)
-
Perform light maintenance or repairs as needed to minimize downtime
-
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food handling regulations
-
Communicate with management regarding production goals and equipment concerns
-
Train or assist new team members in line procedures and safety practices
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shift activities and incidents
-
Will look over 5 people working and fix anything that has issues

Job requirements:

Prior experience in a food production or packaging environment preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude on fixing, or diagnosing equipment issues

Proven leadership or supervisory experience on an assembly line

Ability to work safely and follow all federal food handling guidelines

Attention to detail and commitment to product quality

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Must have mechanical experience in the sense of tinkering, being comfortable figuring out why a conveyer belt is sounding weird, fixing the barcode scanning machine if it is reading error codes, ETC
