Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for packaging and facilitating the production of adhesives, sealants, and lubricants in an assembly line setting. Your role includes adhering to safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. You will actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations and company standards. Additionally, you will adjust machine settings to ensure efficient production processes, conduct quality checks to meet customer specifications, maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, and accurately record production data.

Responsibilities

• Package and facilitate the production of adhesives, sealants, and lubricants.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing PPE.

• Contribute to a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations.

• Adjust machine settings for efficient and effective production.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.

• Accurately record production data and information.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and general labor.

• Proficiency in machine operation.

• Skills in packing and previous manufacturing.

• Experience in landscaping, roofing, and construction.

Job Summary (Purpose):

The Utility Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders).

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE
• Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day's shipments.
• Ability to stand and walk 8 - 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.

• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team
• Willingness to grow and learn
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer knowledge
• Work in a fast-paced environment
