**Job Description Summary:**
Assembles and produces custom procedure trays and learns all procedures and processes in order to perform all functions within the Clean Room.
**Assembly and Wrapping**
+ Accurately assembles custom procedure trays, learning to identify medical components by description and vendor item number.
+ Follows assembly instructions and place the correct component and quantity (using the counting method) into the tray.
+ Visually inspects components for defects. Verifies conformance to specifications and reports and/or rejects defective components, informing the team leader per guidelines.
+ Completes prep assemblies within a custom procedure tray. Identifies the right wrap for the build and proceeds to wrap the tray per customer's specified sterile technique.
**Packaging Operator**
+ Properly loads and packages product on the machine, as assigned
+ Inspects components for visible defects during the load and packaging process.
+ Rotates loading positions, as required.
+ Assures adherence to SOP's, GMP, & ISO policies.
+ Performs additional duties as directed
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
+ Must be able to read and write in English.
+ Or any combination of relevant education and experience to meet the above requirements.

**Sealing**
+ Ensures sealing machine is properly calibrated and at correct settings (temperature, speed, pressure).
+ Checks for the correct header bag and proper insert labels.

+ Completes necessary paperwork.

Pratt & Whitney is planning to invest at least $650 million through 2027 in a world-class turbine airfoil production facility in Asheville, North Carolina. The new, 1,000,000-square-foot facility will house an advanced casting foundry for the production of turbine airfoils as well as conduct machining, coating and finishing of airfoils onsite. This state-of-the-art facility will also implement best-in-class manufacturing technologies and processes exemplifying industry 4.0 manufacturing principles and will complement existing turbine airfoil work that is done across Pratt & Whitney's facilities.
The Foundry Manufacturing Engineering team within the Asheville site is seeking an experienced and motivated Process ME to develop and qualify new processes to meet or exceed delivery and quality targets and assist in manufacturing readiness for these processes at the Asheville, NC site. The candidate must demonstrate technical project management, interpersonal and team skills, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business requirements.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Plan and execute new site start up for single crystal airfoil casting process.
+ Perform preliminary testing and on-site acceptance of new equipment at vendor.
+ Lead development of production processes, work instructions, quality requirements, and regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and deploy standardized engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods.
+ Implement and execute engineering changes to meet customer and financial requirements.
+ Ensure MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) of new processes aligns to program requirements as hardware transitions from development to production during launch and subsequent volume ramp by identifying and mitigating development program manufacturing risks.
+ Pursue operational excellence as subject matter expert for single crystal airfoil NDT processes; Drive product cost reduction and ensure targets are achieved through data driven process improvements and deployment of new technologies.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field with 5+ years of experience in an aerospace, foundry, or NDT inspection environment, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
+ Strong Project Engineering/Planning and Communication/Presentation skills are a must for this position.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Six Sigma green belt or equivalent.
+ Master's' degree in Engineering or related technical field.
+ 5 or more years of experience in NDT inspection for aerospace products.
+ Experience with single crystal airfoil inspection, robotics, and factory 4.0.
+ Experience with Unigraphics NX
+ Broad knowledge of the aerospace industry and experience in turbine engine parts manufacturing.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
