May be required to install, troubleshoot, diagnose causes and/or repair products, instruments or equipment or perform routine or preventive maintenance.

  • ·Coordinates and participates in final assembly of unit or system, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power source, and instruments. May assemble standard components and assemblies.

  • ·Activates controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power.

  • ·Reviews project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.

  • ·Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to components for functional, operational, environmental, and life conditions to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model or to obtain data for development, standardization, quality control, and/or contract requirements.

  • ·Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and corrects equipment through modification, rebuild or adjustment to meet specifications.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Managing, planning and executing/supporting technical projects for both production and facility support equipment.
+ Ensuring projects are completed in a safe and timely manner.
+ Assists with equipment repairs by collaborating with the maintenance team through root cause investigations.
+ Acts as a last escalation point for maintenance troubleshooting before they are escalated for outside assistance.
+ Works with vendors in the manufacture and start-up of new equipment, leads qualification completions.
+ Maintains machine, equipment, and facility drawings as needed.
+ Create and update equipment preventative maintenance plans.
+ Create and update procedures related to equipment or processes.
+ Works to ensure plant is in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
+ Documentation, monitoring and regular reporting on budget and project status of assigned projects.
+ Interface the technical clarification with internal stakeholders, external planners as well as vendors.
+ Works with HSE and/or Global Safety to ensure equipment meets OSHA requirements, at a minimum.
+ Participate in incident investigations, FMEA's, and direct completion of corrective actions.
+ Examine See-Do-Say and Continuous Improvement ideas for feasibility, and coordinate completion of approved ideas.
+ Assumes responsibility for material purchasing as required.
+ Utilizes SME network and other company resources to investigate and implement best practices for the facility.
+ Assist MPII program as required.
+ Promotes and supports a Lean environment within the facility.
+ Participate in validation activities as needed, in facility or off-site.
+ Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
**Education**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required

Job Qualifications:

**Position Summary**
This position is responsible to improve and develop machines, tools, equipment, and processes, for effective and efficient production while ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity goals can be achieved daily. This position supports the leadership team and works with the manufacturing plant industrial maintenance technicians.
**Position Responsibilities**
+ Develop safe procedures and lock out/tag out instructions for new and existing equipment and processes
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports to improve processes or equipment
+ Investigate equipment failures and performance issues to diagnose root causes of safety, quality, or productivity issues and make recommendations to maintenance for resolution
+ Understand potential chemical reactions and chemical compatibilities for new and existing processes
+ Develop and execute tooling design, build, and maintenance plans
+ Working knowledge of basic automated manufacturing machine elements including pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's, switches, etc.
+ Estimate costs, obtain quotes, and present recommendations for process and facilities equipment and construction projects. Prepare related project documents, including RFQ (requests for quotes), quote comparisons, PRA (purchase request authorization), purchase contracts, Gantt charts, and others as required.
+ Prioritize project requests with manufacturing leadership and other internal customers. Coordinate execution of projects with Maintenance and Production teams.
+ Write standard work for processes and set target production rates
+ Apply lean and continuous improvement management principles throughout the department's daily activities
+ Flexible work schedule to include coordination of 24-hour on-call service to manufacturing maintenance and off-shift problem resolution
+ Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, creativity, and teamwork
+ Other duties as assigned
**Knowledge and Experience**
+ 0-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, coaching, and conflict resolution.
+ Working knowledge of all applicable OSHA standards including lockout/tag out, confined spaces, blood borne pathogens, machine guarding, hazardous communication, personal protective equipment, etc.
+ Familiarity with and prior utilization of continuous improvement manufacturing concepts, including lean and Six Sigma methodology.
+ Familiarity with FMEA
+ Working knowledge of PLC programming preferred
+ Experience with packaging equipment in a chemical processing environment preferred
+ Experience in preparing project scope assessments, capital plan authorization, vendor assessments/selection, etc. preferred
+ Experience with 2D drafting software (example: AutoCAD) or 3D software
**Education and Certification**

**Summary:**
Manufacturing is a pillar within Meta's Delivery Team supporting data center construction. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization. We accept Manufacturing Informed Designed (MID) components and orchestrate their detailing and prototyping to optimum manufacturability then work with our partners in Delivery to plan logistics and integration to avoid challenges in construction.This team is comprised of strategic designers, strategic builders, tactical specialists, plus internal and external subject matter experts (SME) including preconstruction managers, contractors, schedulers, equipment reliability engineers, and sourcing specialists. This position will lead program management of all manufactured components in support of Meta's RPL project. This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing PM to drive strategic and tactical aspects of first-of-kind prototyping, logistics, and integration. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity here to deliver a project of this magnitude on an aggressive timeline. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of this capacity on what will be the largest project in Meta's history and one of a few of the largest data centers in the world.
**Required Skills:**
Program Manager, Manufacturing Responsibilities:
1. Program Management - Lead coordination, document, and anticipate program needs to ensure cost, schedule, and quality in concert with the mega-project construction
2. Primary Interface with the Manufacturing CAPs (Component Accountable PMs) - to coordinate on Supplier production (manufacturing execution) including configuring supply chain, production, scheduling, strategic inventory, logistics, and integration in collaboration with our delivery and quality teams
3. Interface with mega-project MOFE (Manufactured Owner Furnished Equipment) Onsite Logistics PM for logistical planning
4. Interface with mega-project MOFE Onsite Integration / Testing PM for planning and coordination
5. Manage GC (General Contractor) MOFE Coordinators for logistics, planning, coordination, reporting, lessons learned, etc.
6. Risk Matrix development, maintenance, and related reporting
7. Cost & Change Coordination with mega-project Meta designees including CM/PCA, ISCE, & MOFE CAPs
8. Schedule Development with Engineering/Scheduling, GCs, CAPs, & Suppliers
9. Regular Debriefs / Lessons Learned development, summary and communication to Engineering, Leadership, & XFNs (cross-functional partners)
10. Partner with cross functional teams on related efforts to ensure alignment and transparency across Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC)
11. Partner closely with Sourcing Team for strategy and deployment of owner furnished equipment.
12. Partner with Global QA/QC Team to identify and strategically shift to the vendors and manufacturers, appropriate elements of the multi-trade integration and commissioning efforts to reduce onsite efforts. Your objective is to embed as much trade work and commissioning as is appropriate at the optimum points of fabrication from start through to the final point of integration.
13. Support team learning by bring lessons learned, vendors, new technology, and other topics to the group for exploration.
14. Travel approximately 40% Domestic Travel to construction and fabrication sites required (including minimal international travel as required)
