Position Summary: The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing various tasks related to the production of walk-in coolers. This role involves following standard operating procedures, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with other team members to meet production targets and contribute to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process. You will interact with co-workers and supervisors in a culture of accountability that values velocity, transparency, and the free exchange of information and ideas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and subassemblies according to production specifications and blueprints
  • Operate and maintain machinery and tools used in the production process
  • Ensure products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards
  • Perform regular checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the Manufacturing Supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with company policies and regulations
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
  • Handle raw materials and components, including loading and unloading
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • Work collaboratively with other manufacturing employees and departments to achieve production goals
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and issues.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest improvements to production processes
  • Build pallets and crates as needed for shipments
  • Must be willing to work overtime as business needs dictate

As part of the new technology, we are developing digital factory using variety of software and hardware automation technologies.

The Manufacturing Software Intern will learn variety of applications and assist the team to bring them to production. If you like to work on Custom Software, Robots, Simulations, AWS, come join us

Job Requirements:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Learn and develop software simulations for manufacturing processes using AWS and custom ML algorithms.

  • Learn and assist with vision system application development.

  • Learn and develop Automated manufacturing cells. Learn and develop Software Automation using custom .NET software.

  • Creating web/desktop applications that manufacturing operators interact with for their job.

  • Creating scripts that automate digital tasks.

  • Formatting and analyzing data from a database.

  • Any duties or assignments assigned by Manager.

Project Scope:

  • Support RDT activities for automation of Spark Clear Aligner System manufacturing.

Deliverables:

  • Improve Operational Key Results.

Requirements:

  • Currently a junior or senior year in undergraduate program. For graduate program, at least one year remaining before graduating.

  • Basic knowledge and experience in any object oriented programming language (C# Preferred, CPP, Python, Java, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases and programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS tools/features

  • Web development experience

  • Experience with computer vision machine learning models

  • Experience with Git and GitHub
