**_Qualifications_**

**_Job Summary_**
The Senior Product Manager, Product Management & Development executes marketing strategies for products to differentiate Cardinal Health's products and to grow revenue, market share, and customer awareness. In line with the broader commercial strategy and the Marketing strategy set by the Director, the Senior Product Manager manages the research, business cases, development, and launches of products in a portfolio. This job works with a large degree of independence and may provide guidance to less experienced Product Management professionals.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Develops annual and multi-year product management roadmaps (in conjunction with the Director) for a portfolio of products and/or services. During annual operating plan meetings and similar strategic discussions, provides actionable insights from market intelligence and product research to support the Director and other business unit leaders.
+ Conducts product pilot tests, customer trials, focus groups, and other product concept testing to gather customer feedback and to determine the product's potential return on investment. Measures and evaluates key performance indicators for the specific product to inform its commercialization potential and strategy.
+ Develops business cases for new products or for product changes based on market and customer research and in conjunction with the Director. Creates Return on Investment (ROI) forecasts, expense budgets, and profit goals for a given product's first 1-3 years after launch. Presents business cases to Director and the senior management of the business unit.
+ In coordination with downstream Marketing teams, designs launches for new products, including positioning, marketing mix, and promotions. Ensures that Sales and other functions receive necessary trainings and information for the efficient commercialization of the product.
+ Analyzes market research, trends, projections and innovations to formulate concepts for new products and services. Collaborates with Research & Development and Business Development teams to integrate commercial, customer, and technical perspectives.
+ Manages relationships with key vendors that assist in upstream market research, such as pilot testing. Coordinates with Manufacturing in relationships with suppliers, as it relates to product specifications and customer requirements.
+ Provides guidance to less-experienced Product Management professionals and may assist in internal trainings or mentorship on behalf of the Director.
+ Provides market and customer research and ensures that relevant customer information or feedback is relayed to Sales leaders and included in CRM systems.
+ Participates in industry conferences, trade associations, and other industry events in order to promote Cardinal Health's products and services and to stay abreast of market developments.

**Position Overview**
Are you an experienced Market Research leader with a proven track record of designing and executing robust B2B research programs? Do you excel at translating complex data and insights into actionable strategic recommendations that drive business growth and competitive advantage? If so, Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Manager, Market Intelligence to play a pivotal role in informing our growth strategy, which relies on winning new customer segments and deepening relationships with existing ones.
This position is a key member of the Global Marketing team, responsible for developing and managing market research initiatives that deliver critical insights to guide strategic decision-making. The Senior Manager, Market Intelligence will act as a strategic resource, partnering closely with leadership to execute research programs that fuel growth by identifying new opportunities, optimizing product development, and enhancing go-to-market strategies.
This role requires a proactive approach to understanding evolving business challenges and recommending appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to uncover market trends, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and emerging opportunities. The Senior Manager, Market Intelligence will lead the entire research lifecycle, whether the research is executed via a vendor partner or using in-house resources. This work may include: defining objectives and methodology, developing research instruments (e.g., surveys, discussion guides), overseeing data collection (both primary and secondary), performing advanced analytics, and synthesizing findings into clear, impactful business recommendations. This individual will possess exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills, capable of building strong collaborative relationships with senior executives, product managers, sales leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across assigned business units and functional areas (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Strategy). Develop a deep understanding of their business models, strategic priorities, GTM mechanics, and key challenges.
+ Identify critical information gaps and define research objectives that support strategic planning, market entry, product innovation, and competitive positioning.
+ Design and lead the execution of primary and secondary market research studies (e.g., market sizing, segmentation, competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, pricing research, concept testing, brand perception, customer needs assessment). Recommend and apply best-practice research methodologies.
+ Apply advanced analytical techniques to market research data, proprietary business data, and external market intelligence to generate deep insights into market dynamics, customer behavior, competitive strategies, and drivers of business performance. Identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and opportunities for differentiation and growth.
+ Develop compelling, data-driven narratives and present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Facilitate workshops and discussions to translate insights into strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
+ Contribute to new product development and go-to-market (GTM) strategy by serving as the internal expert on market dynamics and customer needs, ensuring product roadmaps and GTM plans are informed by robust market insights.
+ Contribute to maturing the Market Research function's operational standards, processes, and policies to scale capabilities, optimize efficiency, and enhance the strategic impact of market insights across the organization.
**Qualifications**
+ BA/BS in business, marketing, market research, economics, statistics, or related fields.
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in a B2B market research, market intelligence, strategy, or similar analytical role within a complex enterprise or a leading market research agency.
+ Subject matter expertise in B2B market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), statistical analysis, and data visualization. Professional market research certification (e.g., Burke Institute, Marketing Research Association) is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of best-practice research techniques and data analytics methods.
+ Superior consulting and advisory skills; ability to think conceptually, handle ambiguity, solve complex business problems, and make thoughtful, data-backed recommendations.
+ Solid project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure accountability for deliverables from all project stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to manage external vendor partners in on-time, on-budget, on-point execution of market research projects
+ Ability to synthesize complex data analysis and research findings into strategic insights and practical, actionable business recommendations.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills, projecting professionalism and credibility to connect with and influence mid and senior management.
+ Proficiency with enterprise research tools/platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Wynter, etc.
+ Additional consideration for experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker, Tableau), competitive intelligence platforms (e.g., Contify, Crayon, Klue, Alphasense), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
+ Experience with using AI analysis tools (e.g., Gemini)
