From asset managers and hedge funds to Delta One desks and wealth platforms, workflows around index analysis, custom baskets, and benchmark modeling are evolving rapidly. Bloombergs Equities and Funds team is focused on developing data and analytics that help clients refine their market outlook in support of asset allocation decisions, tie their outlook to investment selection, and leverage indices, custom baskets, and benchmarks in a scalable, systematic way.
We are looking to hire a product manager to lead the strategy for our Index and Market Analysis products. This includes Bloombergs index data and analytics across the Terminal, development and expansion of equity index-based tools to support market analysis and allocation workflows, and a deeper push into custom baskets. In addition, the role involves vetting a modernized experience across index discovery, entitlement, and analytics in collaboration with internal teams where our goal is to make client workflow simpler and more insightful.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders in our Engineering, Global Data, Core Terminal and Enterprise Products divisions covering Equity Analytics, Custom Baskets, Funds, Portfolio Analytics, and more, to deliver innovative solutions aligned with Bloombergs strategic goals.
We'll trust you to:
Define and maintain a product roadmap for Index and Market Analysis that reflects return on investment, market trends, and client priorities
Build client-centric workflow solutions around index-based research, market outlook modeling, and benchmark construction
Design and scale Terminal workflows and data models related to equity indices, custom baskets and index-based analytics
Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure the timely delivery of well-scoped features
Lead agile development via JIRA, including story writing, acceptance criteria, and release planning
Measure business impact, adoption, and performance of index-related product releases
Partner with our proprietary Bloomberg Index origination team (BISL) data and contracts teams to unify entitlement logic and ensure data consistency across use cases
Coordinate the ongoing modernization and interoperability of our index-based data and analytics in support of our firmwide effort leveraging AI to cater to rapidly evolving client workflow needs
Youll need to have:
5+ years of product management or relevant experience in index data, market analytics, or related equity investment workflows
Deep understanding of index construction as well as index use in research and allocation workflow
Experience managing complex data products and collaborating with engineers and data specialists
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proven track record of agile product development and roadmap ownership

The demand for actionable index data and index-based analytics continues to rise as clients deepen their market insights and implement more tailored investment strategies. From asset managers and hedge funds to Delta One desks and wealth platforms, workflows around index analysis, custom baskets, and benchmark modeling are evolving rapidly.
Bloomberg's Equities and Funds team is focused on developing data and analytics that help clients refine their market outlook in support of asset allocation decisions, tie their outlook to investment selection, and leverage indices, custom baskets, and benchmarks in a scalable, systematic way.
We are looking to hire a product manager to lead the strategy for our Index and Market Analysis products. This includes Bloomberg's index data and analytics across the Terminal, development and expansion of equity index-based tools to support market analysis and allocation workflows, and a deeper push into custom baskets. In addition, the role involves vetting a modernized experience across index discovery, entitlement, and analytics in collaboration with internal teams where our goal is to make client workflow simpler and more insightful.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders in our Engineering, Global Data, Core Terminal and Enterprise Products divisions covering Equity Analytics, Custom Baskets, Funds, Portfolio Analytics, and more, to deliver innovative solutions aligned with Bloomberg's strategic goals.
**We'll trust you to:**
- Define and maintain a product roadmap for Index and Market Analysis that reflects return on investment, market trends, and client priorities
- Build client-centric workflow solutions around index-based research, market outlook modeling, and benchmark construction
- Design and scale Terminal workflows and data models related to equity indices, custom baskets and index-based analytics
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure the timely delivery of well-scoped features
- Lead agile development via JIRA, including story writing, acceptance criteria, and release planning
- Measure business impact, adoption, and performance of index-related product releases
- Partner with our proprietary Bloomberg Index origination team (BISL) data and contracts teams to unify entitlement logic and ensure data consistency across use cases
- Coordinate the ongoing modernization and interoperability of our index-based data and analytics in support of our firmwide effort leveraging AI to cater to rapidly evolving client workflow needs
**You'll need to have:**
- 5+ years of product management or relevant experience in index data, market analytics, or related equity investment workflows
- Deep understanding of index construction as well as index use in research and allocation workflow
- Experience managing complex data products and collaborating with engineers and data specialists
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of agile product development and roadmap ownership
**We'd love to see:**
- Expertise with custom basket workflows and related client segments (e.g., Delta One desks, hedge funds, asset managers)
- Deep knowledge of equity market analytics used in strategy research

Salary Range = 14000 - 295000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

JOB DUTIES:
Oversee the development and improvement of Wholesale and Retail electricity markets. Develop plans for design and enhancements to the NODAL market structure, including wholesale and retail electricity market segments. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ten (10) years of work experience must have been gained through employment with one of the Independent System Operators (ISO) operating the electricity market in North America. Five (5) years of the required ten (10) years of experience must have been in a supervisory or managerial position.
