**The Role**
The Lead Data Science Statistician - AV Safety Data Analysis will drive the statistical methods used to development and evaluation of autonomous vehicle (AV) performance safety metrics ranging from straightforward to advanced machine learning outputs. This position is part of the Safety Assurance for Effective Autonomous Driving Software (SAFE-ADS) department in the Global Product Safety, System, and Certification (GPSSC) organization. The SAFE-ADS department serves as the central body for automated driving system (ADS) safety. GM's vision is zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion - AV safety is at the heart of driving forward this vision. If you seek to solve complex data science challenges and see your work drive positive safety change, this role is for you.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in data science, statistical modeling, and data development across the entire data maturity curve. They will have experience in automative, safety, and/or robotic industries and understand how to integrate physics and engineering into the foundational statistical methods and approaches. The technical leader is a self-starter and comfortable solving ambiguous problems. They are passionate about data and creating valuable insights that drive continuous safety improvements and confidence in the system.
As a technical leader in the SAFE-ADS data science team, you will provide robust statistical expertise and guidance, weigh alternatives, and explain the different approaches to senior leaders. You will address safety assurance related questions related to ADS behavioral performance and validation. This role involves working with large-scale data generated by the ADS system. One of the key elements is to scale data science work and accelerating time-to-delivery in insights which requires the integration of physics and engineering principles. As a leader, you'll play a key role in defining and advancing GM's AV quantitative measurement and risk assessment efforts. Your work will contribute to enhancing and scaling our existing safety risk assessment framework and help to ensure coverage of our operational design domain, foundational components of the overall safety case that guides decision-making and drives engineering across the entire AV technology stack.

The Marketing Senior Data Analyst is responsible for delivering customer retention insights through the analysis of Carters Rewards loyalty program and personalization efforts. This role will have access to a variety of tools and methods including querying SQL databases, constructing Tableau dashboards, and communicating cross-functionally with marketing and retail partners. Specifically, the Marketing Senior Data Analyst will successfully build a collection of Analytical Products which will inform and influence decisions related to wholistic performance marketing, omni customer interactions, customer behaviors, personalization as well as impact of all marketing activities on both online and offline traffic and sales. The Marketing Analyst will help to build best practices for marketing analytics and educate others within the organization to use data in decision making and inform marketing.
(65%) Marketing / Customer Analytics and Performance Measurement
+ Develop and deliver on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting to provide marketing leadership clear visibility to loyalty and marketing personalization performance
+ Synthesis data to provide trend metrics to identify opportunities for the business
+ Provide forward looking analytics and reporting to provide visibility for business planning and marketing plan development
+ Addressing Ad Hoc analytics requests across marketing, omni channel and customer behavior subject areas
(25%) Test Design, measurement and business performance optimization
+ Develop test measurement plans and control groups to analyze learnings
+ Work with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop learning agendas and support testing plans to provide sound test results to help evolve the business performance

**WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:**
+ 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
+ 1+ years professional experience using SQL to construct data models and develop actionable insights
+ 2+ years professional experience data visualization experience in Tableau or similar
+ Office tools such as Excel, Powerpoint
+ Marketing, customer, operations, supply chain or retail analytics experience required
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Preferred skills and experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field and/or equivalent experience in a related field
+ Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and on project teams
+ Experience with AI-tools is a plus
+ Working knowledge of cloud-based data systems is a plus

This role will be responsible for supporting marketing analytics and reporting for the Individual and Family Plan business segment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the marketing team and key business partners to assess the impact of marketing efforts as well as deliver actionable insights to prove/disprove hypotheses and optimize marketing performance. They will deliver insightful data visualizations and employ advanced analytics techniques to drive meaningful impact for the business and across the enterprise.Healthcare insurance benefits are available for purchase. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with marketing leaders to identify analytics challenges and develop solutions.
Develop and maintain reporting and data visualizations/dashboards across all marketing acquisition, customer engagement, customer retention and broker marketing campaigns.
Assist with learning agenda development, hypothesis formulation, test design (including A/B and/or multivariate), measurement and optimization of all marketing campaigns.
Ensure timely delivery of reporting and improve communication of marketing performance across the enterprise.

Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, data analytics and/or digital analytics; preferably focused on health insurance and/or healthcare analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics,
Business/Marketing Analytics or closely related field is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in designing and evaluating marketing experiments (A/B and or multivariate testing) and translating campaign outcomes into actionable insights and business value is a plus.
Attention to detail and intermediate to advanced skills managing and working with large and complex datasets.
A high level of skill with data extraction, manipulation, and warehousing tools (SQL, Python, Databricks, Teradata, SAS).
Proven ability to work independently with limited direction or guidance while producing timely and accurate results.
Experience with Adobe Analytics/ Customer Journey Analytics and Tableau is highly preferred.
Strong communication, summarization and presentation skills.
Strong analytic problem-solving skills.
