SUMMARY

The Enterprise Insights department is responsible for creating Customer/Consumer knowledge by providing actionable and relevant insights that shape general understanding throughout the organization, influencing marketing and merchant activities as well as the overall BBW brand/Customer strategy. This team evaluates competitive and market trends as well as Customer and Consumer sentiment through in-house and vendor-led approaches.

The Senior Market Research Analyst is a key partner in providing customer/consumer intimacy by leading the market research process for assigned merchant businesses and the Bath & Body Works brand overall. This includes directing, implementing, analyzing and delivering consumer findings/strategic implications to Merchant, Marketing, Product Development and Design. This role requires a deep understanding of research methodology for packaged goods development in the retail industry. Top-level, polished communication is required to deliver insights across all levels of the organization to help drive the overall brand forward through strategic and forward-looking thinking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead research projects from beginning to end, from gathering objectives, proposing the methodologies, overseeing fielding and analysis, and creating actionable reports and implications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially in digital and omni-channel, to support business goals with relevant insights.

  • Build strong internal and external relationships to drive a proactive, strategic research agenda, with a focus on digital and omni-channel insights

  • Develop and present insight-driven reports tailored to various audiences, combining primary and secondary research.

  • Work with external vendors to ensure quality and timely execution of research projects.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate retail market research/consumer insights role with; supplier-side experience is highly desirable.

  • Research Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in both primary and secondary research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative techniques. Preferred experience with: Customer Experience (CX) tracking, including NPS and text analytics and Digital/eCommerce research

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to work with large, raw datasets in Excel to extract insights and summarize customer feedback efficiently.

  • Strong qualitative analysis skills, including the ability to synthesize spoken and written open-ended feedback to identify themes and trends.

  • Exceptional writer skilled at synthesizing information from diverse sources and crafting compelling narratives for varied audiences. Strong communicator with experience engaging directly with customers in retail settings.

  • Collaborative teammate who excels in dynamic settings, effectively balancing various responsibilities and achieving outcomes autonomously within competing deadlines.

You will lead the development of research tools-including surveys and discussion guides-and coordinate the analysis and reporting of both qualitative and quantitative data. Your work will directly inform client deliverables, helping to uncover actionable insights and shape strategic recommendations across MMIT Insights offerings.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial team to identify new opportunities. Your contributions will help answer critical business questions and support MMIT's mission to smooth access to therapies by delivering high-quality, insight-driven research.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Project management of qualitative and quantitative research engagements, overseeing analyst contributions, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
+ Design and develop customized research tools-including surveys, questionnaires, and discussion guides-to accurately capture insights aligned with client objectives and research questions.
+ Coordinate and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze, and visualize complex datasets, transforming raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making to support market access and research initiatives
+ Moderate stakeholder interviews, guiding discussions to uncover meaningful insights aligned with research objectives.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally across teams to recruit participants, manage fieldwork logistics, ensure smooth execution of research activities and structure and deliver "client-ready" outputs, balancing creative analysis with effective project management.
+ Create compelling data visualizations and slide templates that clearly communicate insights in a digestible and visually engaging format.
+ Craft executive summaries and strategic narratives that distill complex findings into impactful, client-relevant insights across therapeutic areas.
+ Review and finalize client deliverables, ensuring reports highlight key trends, strategic implications, and meet the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and client readiness.
+ Demonstrate subject matter expertise and strategic thinking, independently addressing client questions and providing thoughtful recommendations based on project scope.
+ Participate in the presentation of findings and reports to clients, delivering insights with clarity and strategic relevance.
+ Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence.
+ Recommend and contribute to product innovation by proposing new analyses, data visualizations, and service offerings that expand the value of the product line.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's or advanced degree from a top institution and a strong record of academic achievement.
+ Exemplary writing skills and a strong interest in effective communication.
+ Attention to detail; perfectionists are highly encouraged to apply.
+ Strong skills with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
+ Genuine interest in professional growth and development through feedback and commitment to corporate core values

+ 2-3 years of professional experience in consulting, marketing analysis, product management, or equivalent undergraduate experience

_The expected base salary for this position ranges from $76,000 to $85,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus._
