Manage the development, project management, ethical execution and communication of primary and secondary market intelligence research, competitive intelligence, and local regulatory environment insights in support of Medicaid growth. **Required qualifications:**

The Emerging Threats and Technologies Division, part of the National Security Directorate, consists of over 400 scientists, engineers, and analysts with backgrounds in cyber, nuclear, intelligence, policy, data science, and other fields. **Responsibilities**
The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory seeks a nonproliferation research analyst to provide support for a variety of federal sponsors, including the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Commerce. This position requires the individual to use and evaluate trade data to provide an in-depth analysis of emerging trends, conduct reviews of commodities and technologies to assess their potential export control requirements, and contribute to capacity building activities in foreign countries on topics related to trade data analysis, industry and academic outreach, export control enforcement, and licensing.
Preferred candidates will possess specialized experience in international and national strategic trade control systems including strategic trade licensing, enforcement processes and procedures, and outreach to the industry and academia. They should have a demonstrated ability to conduct commodity classifications, identify appropriate Harmonized System (HS) codes, and provide analysis of applicable strategic trade controls. They should possess experience analyzing complex aggregate and transactional trade data to develop novel methodologies for identifying diversion for which no precedents or past practices exist. They further should be able to make recommendations that will have an effect on direction of activities, set precedent for future decisions, and strongly influence national/international policies and decisions at the working level. Housing Research Analyst
The Housing Initiative at Penn ( (HIP) seeks applications for a Research Analyst (or Senior Research Analyst, depending on experience) to conduct empirical research related to housing insecurity, economic precarity, and public assistance. HIP is dedicated to achieving more effective, equitable housing policy at the local, state, and national levels. HIP advances policy through rigorous research, civic partnerships, and honest and inclusive planning processes.
HIP is engaged in a variety of projects, including 1) working directly with local partners to evaluate novel housing programs targeted towards populations with low incomes; 2) studying existing programs and policies aimed at addressing issues of housing stability, eviction, and affordability; and 3) developing comprehensive housing plans in partnership with local government, nonprofit partners, and community members.
As Research Analyst, you will engage with the above projects by participating in the design of research methods and approaches; providing database management and graphical and statistical analysis of large-scale datasets; conducting and analyzing surveys, interviews, and focus groups; reviewing relevant data and literature; contributing to reports, working papers, journal articles, and other communications; and working collaboratively as part of a tight-knit team. The Research Analyst will work in several project teams and will report directly to the Director of HIP.

+ Works with HIP staff and project partners to conduct primarily quantitative research (70%)
+ Contributes to report writing, data visualizations, and other communications summarizing research findings (20%)
+ Provide project support, including scheduling meetings, organizing interviews and focus groups, and carrying out other duties and tasks to ensure project success (10%)

**Overview**
GovCIO is currently hiring for an Operations Research Analyst / Data Scientist to support database development, data configuration, data analytics, and reporting activities at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role will be responsible for working within an interconnected reporting and analytics team to pull, configure, and analyze data to create real-time metrics, tasking responses, and overall information to support the ICE mission. This will be a fully remote position.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide effective data management to enable complex analytics from a myriad of systems and software including Oracle, Databricks, AWS, and ServiceNow
+ Ability to align data with data analytic tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Dashboards.
+ Facilitate the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions and can be enabled within the data systems.
+ Provide trade-off analyses on technical solutions to determine the best tools and methodologies to solve complex data requests.
+ Create project deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
+ Use source data to assess the effectiveness of projects and business processes.
+ Work with all team members to analyze changes in requirements and recommend the most expedient solutions in a timely manner.
+ Enable end-user visibility of data and metrics via dashboard creation and metric dissemination
+ Leverage advanced analytic skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear picture for mission leadership.
**Qualifications**
**Required Skills and Experience:**
