Overview of the Role The Senior Manager, Insights will lead the development and execution of consumer, shopper and category initiatives to support strategic objectives for the US Division and the Global Commercial team. How you will make contributions that matter: Lead consumer insights initiatives to gain a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape. Synthesize data from multiple sources to identify key insights and opportunities and translate these into compelling category narratives. Socialize insights throughout the organization to elevate consumer and category knowledge and enable fact-based decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategy, marketing, innovation and sales to align category strategies with business objectives. Proactively highlight business issues, opportunities and risks to relevant commercial colleagues. Form part of the wider innovation forum responsible for identifying and developing new product opportunities. Conduct new product launch tracking and analysis to identify critical insights that improve performance and inform future launches. Partner with sales to develop win/win category strategies and provide presentation support as needed. Provide objective category management expertise and recommendations to our customers in the areas of product, pricing, promotion, assortment and merchandising to establish Saputo as trusted experts. Contribute to the Global Commercial agenda by providing US insights to the global audience, collaborating with divisional counterparts on key business issues and opportunities, and sharing best practices. Manage the insights budget and knowledge library by developing plans to further evolve the consumer, shopper and category knowledge while ensuring a strong ROI on data investment. Develop and manage relationships with external research partners, lead the end-to-end research process and stay current on new methodologies. Actively participate in the IBP process by highlighting category performance, evolving consumer trends and implications to the business. Develop, lead and mentor direct reports to promote insights and analytics excellence. Demonstrate strong leadership, a positive attitude and model Saputo values consistently. You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. 8+ years progressive experience in category management, consumer/shopper insights, or related roles within the CPG industry. Critical thinker with a strategic and results orientated mindset. Excellent business acumen and communication skills. Strong organizations skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Excellent presentation skills with ability to influence across all levels of the organization both internally and externally. Experience with market research tools and techniques. Solid understanding of the US Retail & Foodservice landscape. Strong knowledge of Circana and/Nielsen required. Experience with shopper loyalty card data and insights are strongly preferred. **The Opportunity**

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
+ 15+years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, or related roles
+ Experience leading new market entry and marketing in global regions including establishing brand and portfolio presence.
+ Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of marketing metrics, segmentation, and customer journey mapping
+ Experience in B2B commercial functions for infrastructure and energy industry segments

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned market(s), including fan demographics, audience segmentation, consumer spending habits, effective marketing channels and cross promotional opportunities
  • Research, identify and build relationships with new and existing contacts, including local venues, media, teams, corporations and business associations, to develop opportunities that drive incremental revenue
  • Develop, present and execute a comprehensive and clearly defined revenue-based business plan that accelerates and achieves aggressive, profitable revenue goals
  • Execute a complete marketing, media and promotional plan that utilizes, leverages and maximizes the following: research, media planning and buying, media/3rd party/partnership/sponsor/community promotions and PBR internal assets such as social, digital, live event, editorial and TV
  • Evaluation of all aspects of live event revenue and ROMI, including but not limited to: marketing, advertising, promotion and earned media, research, ticket scaling, pricing models, sponsorship and sales, non-traditional revenue and third party partnerships
  • Act as PBR's ambassador and advocate and fully integrate with counterparts at TKO to leverage and maximize all opportunities with the PBR
  • Work cross divisionally with internal teams (including Sales, Creative, Digital and Social Media, Public Relations, Special Events, TV, Loyalty Marketing, Ticketing, Merchandise, and Finance/Accounting) to ensure maximization of internal resources for event marketing and sales campaigns
  • Work with Finance/Accounting to manage event budgets and drive cost efficiencies
