IronCircle is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to help create and drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of our marketing automation initiatives. This role owns the day-to-day operations of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related platforms, ensuring campaigns are executed with precision, scale, and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Lead planning, build, and execution of campaigns across Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Oversee data segmentation, dynamic content, and personalization strategies to deliver relevant, timely, and high-performing communications.
  • Implement best practices for deliverability, compliance, and engagement.

Optimization & Reporting
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret campaign performance data; deliver actionable insights to improve conversion and ROI.
  • Establish and track KPIs for email, SMS, and cross-channel automation efforts.
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, CTAs, send times, content, and segmentation.

Collaboration & Enablement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on SFMC capabilities, best practices, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and platform partners.

Process & Innovation
  • Develop and enforce scalable processes for campaign creation, QA, and approvals.
  • Continuously assess emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve automation, personalization, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations.

Experience/Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years in marketing automation, CRM, or lifecycle marketing; 3+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proficiency in SFMC (Advanced preferred) and Salesforce CRM; familiarity with broader martech stack
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for responsive email design
  • Experience with SMS platforms, integrations, and compliance
