Job Description
+ Partners with Marketing Research team and external agencies to develop programs to inform marketing strategy, including the development of primary and secondary research projects, surveys, focus groups and data mining activities. Makes actionable recommendations based on insights.
+ Develops annual marketing plans, at national and local levels.
+ Accountable for forecasting and delivering the results of the marketing strategies implemented
+ Acts as the expert in understanding the Prospective Advisor target audience. Crafts the prospect journey throughout the sales funnel, from brand awareness through closing the sale.
+ Provides thought leadership and cross-department coordination for emerging disciplines related to direct marketing (online and offline), database marketing, content marketing and digital marketing
+ Profiles key segments/personas targeted by corporate clients, and identifies current and desired user journeys.
+ Works closely with in-house account management and Raymond James' creative agency to develop integrated plans to reach targeted audiences using digital and traditional tactics.
+ Works with brand management team to align media plans and messaging between corporate client campaigns and national consumer campaign to ensure a consistent messaging experience for each target audience - clients and financial advisors.
+ Prepares cost estimates and oversees budgets for campaigns, vendor products and internal projects.
+ Manages team and agency relationships to kick off, optimize and conclude offline and online campaigns.
+ Identifies marketing technology and infrastructure needs to improve user experience, campaign execution and reporting. Leads roll-out and implementation of new campaign tools.
+ Develops actionable analysis on the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns across the Marketing team, including the measurement of print, online, direct marketing, email, social media and CRM programs.
+ Establishes consistency in how Raymond James Marketing evaluates success of campaign initiatives, across clients.
+ Continues to strengthen relationship between Raymond James Marketing and agency partners.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Marketing processes and overall business knowledge sufficient to develop marketing strategies within the organization on inter-departmental, corporate, business-to-business, and/or client levels.
+ Media planning discipline, including online and offline media, and campaign reporting.
+ Development and execution of direct marketing campaigns.
+ Use of search engine marketing and search engine optimization in the context of marketing plans to achieve targeted objectives.
+ Familiarity with inbound marketing processes and platforms, including onboarding marketing automation platforms and nurture marketing skill sets.
**Skill in:**
+ Organizational, planning and time management skills - as well as a "roll up the sleeves" mentality - sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
+ Proven strong negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
+ Operating web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation software applications, such as Google Analytics and DoubleClick for Advertisers, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Oracle Eloqua.
