Our client, a disruptive global food and beverage company, is looking to hire a remote Master Data Manager . This fast-growing company is looking for a driven, quick learner to implement processes and procedures for their planning strategy.

As our client continues to grow their brands globally, this Master Data Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining material master data in their data management system and will also be instrumental in the roll out of SAP.

Master Data Manager Responsibilities:

  • Execute creations and changes of material data related to the final product including packaging materials, raw materials, intermediates and finished products
  • Support the creation of product specifications and labels
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Sales, R&D, Quality, Planning, Pricing and Sourcing as first line of support for master data questions
  • Validate the integrity of material data provided by other functions
  • Highlight and rectify minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner
  • Generate reports for management
Master Data Manager Requirements:
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, operations management preferred
  • 5-7+ years in a master data role
  • Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Team player that can work independently and cross functionally

Position Summary
The Master Data Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing accurate master data records across the organization's ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role ensures integrity of key data elements such as SKUs, vendors, pricing, product hierarchies, and attributes. By safeguarding the accuracy and consistency of master data, this position supports efficient fulfillment, replenishment, financial reporting, and decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

Master Data Management
• Create, validate, and maintain SKU/item master records in ERP/WMS, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
• Manage vendor master data including account details, payment terms, and compliance attributes.
• Ensure accuracy of product hierarchies, categories, and attributes for reporting and system integration.
• Support onboarding of new vendors and products by coordinating data collection and system entry.
• Document and enforce master data governance policies and SOPs to maintain consistency across systems.

Data Integrity & Governance
• Perform regular audits to identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot master data errors impacting WMS, ERP, or downstream systems and resolve root causes.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance standards and policies.
• Track data changes and maintain audit trails to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to manage master data setup, updates, and discontinuance.
• Lead cross-functional communication cadence with stakeholders to ensure ongoing master data health.
• Support reporting and analytics teams by ensuring clean, accurate, and timely master data availability.
• Provide training or guidance to end-users on data entry standards and best practices.

Process Improvement & Efficiency
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce manual entry, enhance automation, and improve data quality.
• Recommend system enhancements or workflow improvements to strengthen data integrity.
• Participate in projects involving system upgrades, integrations, or data migrations.

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in master data management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Strong ERP/WMS experience required; familiarity with item master and vendor master modules.
• High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and comfortable handling large datasets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple requests and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data best practices.
• Experience with EDI vendor setup and compliance requirements.

  • Partner with other JJT teams in Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and R&D on all integration topics. Resolve business and technical challenges and ensure realization of business benefits.

  • Help Shape and Grow JJT organization to enable a global intake, build and sustain process that will drive parallel program releases and on-going operations, projects and enhancements as TranSCend goes live.

Qualifications

Required :

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant SAP experience
  • Strong Knowledge of SC Business processes – Order to Cash, E Commerce, Retail, Distribution and Warehouse Management including planning, procurement, quality management, order processing, pricing, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP data design and data migration approaches
  • Understanding of ERP SAP functionality, including MDG.  Ability to determine capabilities and limitations of existing SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SAP S4 systems, particularly in master data management and related modules (material, vendor, and customer).
  • Good Knowledge with SOX, GxP compliance processes
  • Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of technology trends and to apply this knowledge to data capabilities.
  • Ability to think creatively about where business initiatives drive technology evolution and to break-down processes and reinvent enabling technology capabilities with partners
  • Demonstrated strong sense of urgency in completing deliverables, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong negotiating/ influencing skills, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$100,000 - $172,500.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
