QUALITICATIONS
+ Minimum 6 years of experience as an Electrician.

+ Strong math knowledge and skills as related to the job tasks. Able to add, subtract, multiple, and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.

+ Thorough knowledge of the National Electric Code.
+ Ability to read and understand conduit drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, grounding drawings, lighting arrangements, panel drawings, and other specifications.
+ Knowledge and experience in all aspects of solar electrical installations such as high/medium/low voltage distribution, switchgear, DCS, PLCs and raceways above and below ground, cable tray, cable installation, and instrument installation.

Physical:
+ Must comply with PCL's drug and alcohol abuse policy.
+ Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by PCL.

Installs feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations. Ensures that the material used and workmanship meets the requirements of the applicable technical and safety standards.
+ Provide detailed reports on equipment's failures maintenance requirements and lifecycle replacements.
+ Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections orally or in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning/inoperable equipment
+ Use US Army quality assurance procedures to insure that the material used and workmanship meet the requirements of the applicable DoD and military specifications, criteria, procedures, and technical/safety standards.
+ Provide electrical design input to engineering installation plans and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
+ Provide 24-hour 7-day quick reaction technical support to mission critical equipment's.
+ Performs power quality measurements on the commercial and technical power of the facility and plans actions for correction of any deficiencies.
+ Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
+ Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent and 10 or more years' experience with a valid Electrician license at a State level; or 12 years' experience in an equivalent Military Electrician training/certification.
+ Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI after start date.
+ Knowledge of Safe Work practices especially regarding energized work, working at heights and confined spaces per OSHA regulations.
+ Subject matter expertise level familiarity with provisions and applications of the National Electric Code and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
+ Command of fluent English, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
+ Ability to liaise with Directorate of Public Works and BASOPS to coordinate maintenance and repairs are preformed to standard.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Master Electrician is responsible for installation, start up, and shut down of equipment; troubleshoot and repair of electrical equipment. This role will require a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of carious materials, principles of operation and application of electrical equipment.
Pay Range: $25 - $42.64
**YOUR IMPACT:**
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures in line with OSHA requirements.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment.
+ Plan electrical work utilizing thorough background knowledge of electrical/electronic and machinal theories and principles, local and national electrical codes, and properties of various materials.
+ Advise operators and maintenance technicians of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electric/electronic and machinal equipment components.
+ Inform appropriate management and maintenance of potential electrical/mechanical plans and inherent dangers involved.
+ Assist and train apprentices and technical team members.
+ Perform preventative maintenance functions as needed.
+ Maintains company required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Three (3) or more years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields, and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
+ Electrical Journeyman license, MN. Board of Electricity.
+ Master Electrician license, MN. Board of Electricity.
