United Talent Staffing Services is hiring a Facility Technician in ( Lawrenceville, Ga )!
We are currently seeking a Facility Technician to perform preventative and general maintenance tasks, assist with troubleshooting facility issues, and ensure a clean, safe, and functional work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance based on established schedules
  • Handle general facility maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Assist supervisors with troubleshooting facility issues
  • Support setup and installation of new equipment, furniture, or fixtures
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
  • Comply with all safety standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate forklift and other equipment when required
  • Available to work overtime, including weekends

Pay & Shift:

Shift: 1st Shift (5:30am – 4:00pm)
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of building or facility maintenance experience
  • Must be proficient in basic trade work (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, climbing, kneeling, etc.)
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Forklift experience required

The Maintenance Technician III supports production operations by performing preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs production equipment, and performs repairs and maintenance of facility.   • Install and maintain production/facility equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.

Career Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least 5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience in welding and fabricating.
  • Knowledge of overhead cranes, bearings, hydraulics, electrical panels (120V, 240V, 480V) and electric motors and drives
  • Ability to read measurements accurately.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
  • Must have extensive electrical knowledge.
  • Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing various types of production machinery preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Strong PLC knowledge/experience.
  • Must have basic knowledge of lock out / tag out and PPE.
  • Licensed electrician, preferred.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; handle objects, tools, controls and reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must have normal color vision.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Regularly works near moving mechanical parts;
  • Work may be performed in high places and/or in outside weather conditions.
  • Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position in which you will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles. **Responsibilities**
+ Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
+ Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
+ Install and perform tire maintenance.
+ Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
+ Road test vehicles.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
+ Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
+ Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
+ Reading, writing, and math skills.
