Job Description
**Individual will be responsible for sub-division and preparation of shipment of GMP materials in GMP Sample Repository. Workflows will be executed in accordance with relevant standard operating procedures and conformance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's). The employee will ensure all required documentation associated with material receipt, order processing and shipping are accurately prepared and maintained. Additionally, all relevant databases will be updated accordingly.**
**Requirements**
+ **Provide functional support for all GMP Sample Repository activities such as: Receiving and processing (label, store subdivide, and ship) all GMP material for distribution to preclinical or clinical studies and commercial reference standards in accordance with the SOP's, cGMP's, and federal and regulatory guidelines.**
+ **Order chemicals and supplies, executing on the receipt, subdivision and shipment of GMP materials, performing a wide variety of documentation management for Distribution & Logistics records.**
+ **Interact with RY site shipping, transportation companies, brokers, etc. to facilitate/ensure shipments.**
+ **Generate shipping documentation and hazardous goods packages according to DOT/IATA guidelines.**
+ **Compile transportation details of shipments for confirmation and distribution and maintain open communication with recipients to convey shipment details, thus, ensuring smooth deliveries.**
+ **Demonstrate high levels of customer support with Sample Repository and Reference Standard staff and in conducting all business activities with other sites and external parties.**
+ **Role is based in Rahway NJ; Onsite 5 days per week**
**Qualifications**
+ **Experience operating in a GMP environment, material handling, documentation, data generation and data reporting.**
+ **Good computer skills, capable to quickly learn and implement area-specific software/database systems.**
+ **Requires effective interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and oral) skills and exhibit a high level of attention to detail. Possess the skills to work independently and in team or group situations.**
+ **Requires the aptitude and knowledge, and the ability to achieve productivity by managing time, priorities and personal effort.**
+ **Desirable to have working knowledge and understanding of country specific shipping regulations.**
**Education requirements** **(e.g., BS in Chemistry or related science)**
+ **BA/BS in a science related field is preferred but not required.**

**Job Description**
+ Order proper raw materials for work orders and charge out materials to work orders.
+ Supply and maintain the inventory of bags, boxes, totes and pallets.
+ Properly clean material hoppers, grinders and bins according to the production schedule.
+ Supply and maintain regrind usage through the vacuum loading system according to the department procedures.
+ Properly identify and label all materials in bins, grinders and gaylords according to the department procedures.
+ Assure regrind is properly stored and identified for reuse or resale.
+ Properly weigh and record regrind for resale and load trailer.
+ Ensure virgin and concentrate materials are supplied to the proper injection molding machine from the warehouse location and have been weighed and recorded according to the department procedures.
+ Ensure materials requiring drying are dried at the proper settings and the proper length of time according to the department procedures.
+ Maintain all housekeeping requirements for the warehouse and the production floor as defined in the department procedures.
+ Responsible for setting up auxiliary equipment necessary for the particular production run replacing, cleaning, and changing fitters and empty barrels.
+ Perform minor adjustments to auxiliary and material conveying equipment as needed under direction of a skilled team member.
+ Responsible for all required paperwork.
+ Assist other team members in cross training.
+ Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
+ Participate on safety and emergency response teams and attend monthly Safety Meeting and other meetings and teams as required or requested.

Job Description
Leidos is seeking a dynamic **Material/Logistics Technician** in Egg Harbor, NJ. This position will be supporting our Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) contract. TFDM is a hardware and software development contract to provide our nation's air traffic controllers with enhanced tools and capabilities across the national airspace system (NAS).
While this position will be located in Egg Harbor, NJ, there is an extensive training period in Chesapeake, VA involved with this position. Please read below for more information.
Training period: The TFDM program is opening a duplicate facility in the Egg Harbor, NJ area mimicking our current production and test facility located in Chesapeake, VA. For the first 60-90 days of employment, the selected candidate will be required to travel to and from the Chesapeake, VA area for on-the-job training (OJT). All travel expenses associated with the travel will be reimbursed. The trainee will be expected to stay in the Chesapeake area for 2-week periods with travel to/from home in between. This includes 1 weekend stay per 2-week event.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
+ Complete parts packaging in accordance with specialized packaging requirements.
+ Fabrication of shipping labels, ensuring proper format and shipping address accuracy.
+ Coordinate special shipping requirements as necessary.
+ Document and maintain accurate shipping activity files.
+ Provide daily shipping and billing summaries to program administration.
+ Perform periodic inventory of shipping material to ensure adequate quantities on hand.
+ Perform applicable data entry to the existing CDLS automated Logistics Database.
+ Update shipping information to the FAA "Logistics Information System" (LIS) via WEB page.
+ Perform preliminary package inspection for any apparent external damage and notify shipper at time of delivery if damage is detected.
+ Verify and note received packages for shipment type (Purchase Order or Field parts returned for repair. For Purchase Order items, verify the Purchase Order document to the part actually received and then notify ordering individual of the received parts.
+ Update and maintain the department receiving files.
+ Maintain the warehouse physical organization and cleanliness.
+ Support periodic warehouse inventory activities.
+ Interface with management to resolve any problems or discrepancies that may arise with orders.
+ Develop a level of expertise via cross training of coworker functions so as to fill in for position absences.
+ Must have the physical ability to lift forty pounds.
**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ **Warehousing Operations:** Overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of goods within a warehouse facility to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to lift 40 Pounds, Previous Warehouse Experience.
+ Demonstrated Self-Starter, Operate Fork Lift, General Computer Skills FedEx On-Site Power Ship Exp., Microsoft Access
+ Experience, Knowledge of OSHA Standards, and Inventory Control & Management Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance in the future should business needs require
+ Ability to travel and work in Chesapeake, VA for the first 3 months
**Preferred Qualifications:**
