This role is the cognizant interface with group of assigned suppliers and teamed with buyers/ products to ensure the required deliveries occur.
**THE WORK**
- Attending and hosting daily meetings to ensure customer satisfaction with information.
- To ensure delivery, this includes, but is not limited to; the supplier's input of accurate and reliable commit dates into the supplier's Portal, using SAP to identify inventory in other locations for transfer, work with suppliers to develop line of balance and milestone plans and identify recovery to MRP for all shortage risks, checking previous suppliers for parts when current suppliers schedules don't support customer need, coordinate with Supply Chain Buyer's for issuance of PO's, identify and investigate Tech Helps and other engineering documentation for priority closure.
- This also includes following established standard work to document issues related to the delivery of material and escalate to supervision when course of action will not mitigate the shortage.

**A Brief Summary of This Position:**
The Materials Planner is responsible for planning and reviewing site demand activities, focusing on accuracy and system data integrity with the goal of supporting site build schedule requirements. The employee participates in tactical business decisions and operates as the liaison between central purchasing and site operations. + Responsible for maintaining a professional working relationship with internal customers and stakeholders

+ Assist central buyer and accounts payable in timely credit/debit reconciliation

**Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):**
+ 4+ years of experience with a focus on understanding MRP systems
+ 2+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment or a material role
+ ISM (CPSM), APICS (C.P.I.M.) Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional in Inventory Management Certification or equivalent
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment, building relationships with all levels of employees

JOB SUMMARY
The Materials Planner is responsible for coordinating all material planning efforts between departments to meet customer expectations and company goals.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Ensures 100 percent on-time delivery of products to finished goods as scheduled by AE's committed shipment date. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

The Production Materials Planner is responsible for managing the flow of materials to ensure that the production process is supported with the appropriate quantity and quality of raw materials, components, and supplies. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, production teams, and inventory management to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and reducing costs.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Create and maintain material planning records, including bills of materials (BOM), lead times, and reorder points.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- ASCM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management - CPIM) or equivalent certification.
- Other continued education can be used in lieu of the ASCM certification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or supply chain roles.
- Proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
- Knowledge of advanced planning and scheduling techniques (APS, JIT, etc.)
- Familiarity with global supply chains and internation sourcing preferred

ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders, and overseeing the efficient flow of materials to meet customer demand. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure efficient plant operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and expectations to provide personalized service
- Ensure customer reports and information are accurate and communicated to customer in a timely fashion
- Interface into customer reporting systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle for scheduling, production, -most times by lot control), shipping, receiving, and managing procurement of customer owned raw materials for specific customer assigned

Material Inventory Management
- Participate in material planning process
- Drive change in managing inventory levels and inventory turns and minimizing obsolescence, scrap, aged inventories, and inventory reserves
- Analyze production yield, material usage, and material loss data to understand customer/material impacts
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure optimal inventory levels
Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate with internal supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and ingredients
- Oversee the supply of raw and packaging materials (whether customer or organization owned) for the facility to include new production to meet production schedules
- Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate on-time deliveries to customers
Problem-Solving
- Identify and address customer-related supply chain issues promptly and effectively
