Job Summary

Responsible for the strategic direction of all administrative and academic operations of Kennesaw State University's nationally ranked master's programs. Responsible for the growth and expansion of the programs, including strategic planning, recruitment and admissions, program coordination, and ensuring student and stakeholder satisfaction. Collaborates closely with faculty, staff, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain academic excellence, enhances program visibility, and optimizes student experience. Develops and advances the mission and vision for KSU MBA Programs and creates strategies and tactics for achieving goals that align with the University and College R2 priorities. Designs and assigns program initiatives to manage and grow the programs, to drive student enrollment and student success while supporting the revenue generation goals of the college.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the vision, direction, goals, and decisions for program compliance that supports the university's strategic plan, the college's priorities, program rankings and student satisfaction
2. Designs and assigns program initiatives to manage and grow the programs that drives student enrollment and success and supports department revenue generation goals
3. Develops and implements a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy for the programs
4. Creates, collects, and analyzes internal, syndicated, and proprietary data that benchmarks the programs with comparative and aspirational sets and develops initiatives for program growth
5. Tracks, analyzes, and reports student data for reporting and strategic decision making
6. Oversees academic support services and experiential learning development to ensure student success and career readiness
7. Collaborates with faculty to ensure the program's curriculum remains up-to-date and relevant to the needs of executive-level professionals
8. Acts as the primary liaison between GaWeb MBA organization and KSU to support student information security, timely recording of student information and grades, and the proper billing for student enrollment
9. Provides support, recommendations and/or resolutions for student, faculty and other issues and/or concerns (overrides, complaints, grade appeals, classroom equipment, processes, etc.)
10. Responsible for the supervision, performance management and timekeeping of assigned staff cultivating a high-performing team focused on collaboration, innovation, and student-centered service
11. Conducts and seeks out additional university and other resources for student academic advising and career counseling services
12. Designs and implements student success programs focused on leadership, career readiness, and professional growth
13. Plans and executes professional development events, including industry panels, networking sessions, and alumni mentorships
14. Responsible for creating, managing, and reporting of program budget for state revenue generation to meet the college's priorities
15. Serves as a visible leader for the programs, both internally and externally, and act as an advocate for the program in the local and national community by engaging with companies and partners
16. Represents MBA programs at recruitment fairs, corporate engagements, and conferences to promote visibility and reputation
17. Fosters alumni engagement initiatives such as networking events, reunions, and advisory board meetings
18. Gathers feedback from students, alumni, and employers to refine and improve professional development initiatives, ensuring relevance and impact

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
