**Responsibilities**
+ You will be responsible for performing general mechanical and preventative tasks, as well as performing inspections, services, repairs and overhauls on equipment of the hospital as directed.
+ Installing all new equipment and systems as assigned and ensuring that installations and operations comply with all manufacturer's specifications with all applicable codes, regulations and the hospital's safety policies.
+ Coordinating and inspecting projects, ensuring that they are meeting quality standards in an approved time frame and that they comply with city/state codes as well as JACHO.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
+ Perform general and detailed repairs on all trucks, engines, and components.
+ Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
+ Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts.
+ Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to identify malfunctions and plan work procedures.
+ Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, making adjustments as needed.
+ Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicles to verify conformance to specifications.
+ Tag all warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk.
+ Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
+ Schedule is Monday through Friday
