Mechanical Assembler
Adecco is now hiring for a manufacturing company for a Mechanical Assembler position in Burbank, California. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and testing mechanical parts using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications. + Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment(s) and products.
+ Utilize manual tools and pneumatic tools.
+ Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
+ Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
+ Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
+ Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
+ Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily
+ Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site

The Lead Assembler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the assembly process of products in a manufacturing setting. They supervise a team of assemblers, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained. The Lead Assembler also assists in training new assemblers, troubleshooting assembly issues, and implementing process improvements. They collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure efficient and effective assembly operations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education level of a High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent Diploma is preferred.

8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of system software (i.e. Oracle, MES, True View) to look up parts and drawings.

Lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
