**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** is seeking an experienced **Mechanical** or MEP **Estimator** who can meet client objectives through the delivery of an effective cost management service.
The MEP Estimator is responsible for providing mechanical estimates and cost consulting for commercial, data center, industrial, and high-tech building projects.
While Mechanical construction estimating experience is required, Electrical and Plumbing Estimating experience is also advantageous (MEP).
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
+ Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.
+ Assist on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
+ Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.
+ Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.

**Qualifications**
+ Good technical experience in all cost management areas; pre-contract, post contract and final account
+ Demonstrate solid presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and/or other related computer software.
+ Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
+ Good knowledge of all methods of construction procurement.
+ Experience with advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
+ Experience with key aspects of business development.
+ Good knowledge and experience gained within several industry sectors.
**Education/Experience:**
+ College degree in Engineering, Construction Management with a Technical Focus, Quantity Surveyor, or related technical field.

We are seeking an experienced Building Mechanical Construction Inspector with experience providing construction inspection services or QA/QC services as a Superintendent or Foreman for new building construction projects valued at $10,000,000 or more. Daily Duties

Perform quality assurance (QA) inspection.

Check SFPUC plans and specifications to ensure contractor compliance regarding construction methods, equipment, standards, workmanship and quantity and quality of materials involved in the project.

Provide constructability oversight for projects during construction.

Help with field resolution of construction issues.

Must be able to supplement the agency's construction inspection team.

Visit construction sites and inspect each stage of construction up to completion.

Prepare Non-Conformance Reports when work is not performed to the approved standards.

Certification in a nationally and construction industry recognized technical certification needed to perform Mechanical construction inspections.

Experience with construction quality control, current construction inspection techniques, and current OSHA and Cal/OSHA safe working practices, rules, and regulations in relation to different types and phases of construction.

Experience with plans and specifications for contract administration; ability to perform mathematical computations and apply results to inspection work; and ability to prepare various types of reports and other written communications necessary for recordkeeping and letters to contractors.

At least three years of experience using CM software systems.

Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water, waste, and storm piping.
  • Interpret plans and layouts to mark and install plumbing connections, fixtures, supports, and equipment.

What You'll Do:
As a Superintendent, youll lead and manage field operations for assigned mechanical construction projects. Youll oversee crews, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure that each job site is safe, productive, and operating efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
Organize and oversee job site activities.
Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Evaluate and interpret construction documents and specifications.
Generate material takeoffs from project drawings.
