- Responds to needs for architectural drawings to assist technical service and customer inquiries.
- Review and update any specifications on Velux Commercial products.
- Drafts detail and assembly drawings and architectural perspectives. This includes developing VELUX product specific architectural cross section and quote drawings to be used internally by CSRs, Sales and Marketing in all SKY markets and externally by architects, designers and contractors.
- Responsible for developing and updating product certification drawing packages submitted to certifying agencies.
- Responsible for the development of CAD Standards and implementation of standards within the product development group.
- Performs difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, accuracy and drafting expertise.
- Provide assistance or guidance to Velux Wells engineering and/or 3rd party PE Firms working to resolve redlines, on complicated jobs that may require nontypical structural solutions
- Uses both 2D and 3D software to redesign, modify or edit drawings.
- Provide swift innovate and practical solutions, for complex issues, directly resulting in maintaining promised lead time times.

Qualifications:
- Associates degree in CADD or a related field or Equivalent Professional Experience
