We are looking for engineers with hands on mechanical design experience. If you can design a mechanical system, have an understanding of the critical equipment needs for a data center, and understand the constructability of varying designs you may be a good fit. As we grow we are structuring our team to own more of our engineering in house. Engineers will be responsible for taking designs from concept to the permit and construction document set. You must be capable of defining critical equipment specifications and approving equipment submittals. Engineers will directly support construction and be a part of the process from site selection review through commissioning and ultimately turnover. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering degree in a related field with at least 4 years of additional qualifying experience.
- 6+ year of experience in design engineering or the construction industry, related to all aspects of Mechanical, including hydronics, air side duct design, and plumbing design. 4+ years' experience using Revit for producing Mechanical & Plumbing engineering BIM models and construction drawings.
- Experience applying local codes, International Code Council (ICC) requirements, and other Mechanical industry standards, procedures, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience directly related to construction of data centers, critical medical, industrial, construction, oil and gas, or large-scale mechanical and power systems.
- Experience with processes of design review, specification, development of design standards, and submittal review. Ability to read and understand construction documents for all trades (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.).
- Experience with performance-based alternatives to prescriptive Mechanical design. Advance knowledge of mechanical engineering systems
- Experience designing of high volume air handling systems and controls, chilled water systems and controls, economization solutions and direct/indirect evaporative cooling systems.

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Industrial team. This team provides construction site surveys, MEP design, troubleshooting, and creative solutions to unique demands within the industrial, semiconductor, and high-tech construction environment. This position is responsible for researching, planning, designing, and controlling elements of multiple client projects, overseeing workload planning, staffing and coordination of project delivery, managing client relationships, and enabling profitability and company growth. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management:
Mechanical Engineering
- Work with the team’s technical support staff to develop mechanical system designs for new construction and renovation projects primarily in the private sector
- Provide mechanical support for projects throughout the design and construction administration phases
- Design of process systems such as: CDA, DI Water, PCW, Process Gas
- Process Piping Design
- Attend project site visits and meetings as needed for project development, design reviews, and construction administration
Project Management
- Oversee project management activities for a portfolio of multiple projects
- Support the completion of the billing process, collection of client billings, and other operational and financial matters
- Assist senior management and Project Managers in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all engineering work within the team
- May act as the senior contact for key clients and/or key projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineer License in Texas, or NCEES record with ability to obtain licensure in other states
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Extensive project management experience
- Significant experience in the MEP consulting industry, preferably in Industrial, Semiconductor, and High-Tech projects
- Excellent multi-tasking capabilities across multiple projects coupled with exceptional communication and client relationship building skills

The System Engineer plays a crucial role in the Amazon Robotics deployment team. They oversee the installation, troubleshooting, integration, and commissioning of Amazon Robotics equipment in new and existing fulfillment centers (FCs). Expertise in robotics, complex electro-mechanical systems, and networked engineering, including knowledge of robotic components and software

Responsible for delivering projects by owning key performance indicators related to on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability

Key job responsibilities
Support and guide installation of robotic technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers. The systems engineer develop detailed knowledge of the operation of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of these systems both on site and remotely. The scopes vary significantly in length and include heavy travel to both live warehouses and new construction sites. The systems engineer will generate and implement continuous improvement ideas around their work-scopes and lead teams of other engineers on projects.

About the team
The Robotics Deployment Engineering team consists of the field deployment teams for Amazon's robotic warehouse systems. The teams travel frequently and work across overlapping projects to complete their deployment scopes and continuously improve our processes
Basic Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or closely related STEM field.
3+ years' working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
2+ years' experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues using 3D clash detection reports.
2+ years working in a field setting including construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
1+ years' experience with troubleshooting robotics systems or other complex mechanical-electrical or networked systems to resolve escalations including quality hand-off, live order testing, site acceptance testing, operational readiness testing, monitoring system performance, etc.
1+ years' experience with business intelligence and data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau).
Preferred Qualifications
Practical understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
Experience in a role with a minimum 50% travel
Ability to demonstrate past use of data to drive decision making processes
Familiarity with LEAN or Six Sigma. Certifications are a plus
Ability to take independent initiative when presented with a business need

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,900/year in our highest geographic market.
