**Job Description:**
We are seeking experienced **Industrial Mechanics** to join our traveling team. This role involves working with stainless steel components, hydraulic systems, and compression fittings in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include installing hydraulic lifts and hose reels across various job sites in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma .
**Responsibilities:**
- Install and maintain hydraulic lifts and hose reels
- Work with stainless steel materials, hydraulic and compression fittings
- Ensure efficient and precise installations in a fast-paced setting
- Follow safety protocols and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Collaborate with team members and follow direction from lead mechanics
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic, especially with stainless steel and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with hydraulic and compression fittings
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-speed environment
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned states
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Lead mechanics should have supervisory experience and a high level of proficiency with hydraulic systems
**Compensation and Benefits:**
- 18- 22 per hour, based on experience; Lead Mechanics: 26- 28 per hour
- 40 per diem for each day worked

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys solving problems, improving equipment performance, and keeping production running smoothly. You'll work with mechanical and electromechanical systems, support engineering teams, and help maintain the facility's equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.)
- Assist with installations and upgrades
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics
- Optimize machinery for peak efficiency
- Keep detailed service records and follow safety protocols
- Collaborate with teams across departments to resolve issues quickly
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in mechanical/equipment maintenance (manufacturing )
- Solid troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
- Comfortable with hand/power tools, blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tests
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or GED (technical degree a plus)

The positions will perform a variety of assignments to assist in the maintenance and operation of the various infrastructure systems within the University to ensure a suitable living, learning, and working environment in all University facilities.
The Maintenance Mechanics will maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipment while performing a variety of semi-skilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plastering. In addition, some Maintenance Mechanics (experience dependent) will perform generator testing, replacing filters and belts, inspecting operational pumps, elevators, emergency lighting and exit signs, and assist with water treatment of boiler and closed loop systems.
All Maintenance Mechanics assure the compliance of work with applicable codes, health, and safety regulations.
Education
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Experience

The Maintenance Mechanic position performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Conducts daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment as needed.

- Responsible for using assigned personal protective equipment and required safety equipment; responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations.
- Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to push, pull, move, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
- May need to work nights and weekends; available "on call" as needed.
Work Environment
