Position Summary & Mission

The Digital Engagement Manager develops and implements strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and online reputation for BIBIBOP Asian Grill. This position manages content creation across social media platforms and ensures alignment with the company's marketing objectives, annual campaign calendar, and brand standards.

The role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to produce multimedia content, maintain a consistent brand voice, and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage social media and online reputation strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create and edit multimedia content, including written, photographic, and video assets, for multiple social platforms.

Under the supervision of the director of Integrated Marketing Communications, the Social Media Manager will help inform and implement Capital's social media and content strategy in support of Integrated Marketing Communications goals and a comprehensive marketing communications plan. The Social Media Manager will devise, implement, and measure initiatives to grow, engage and retain followers, fans and promoters of the University, attract prospective students, and help convert them into inquirers and applicants primarily through Capital's social media profiles. Comfortable with community management and social media marketing, this team member will create, build, curate and publish engaging and sharable content across social media channels and Capital's website. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage Capital University's official social media channels (existing and emerging), including Capital University Law School and Trinity Lutheran Seminary to increase brand awareness, engagement, tell stories, and attract and convert leads.
  • Manage social media strategy and accounts for undergraduate admissions.
  • Assist in the management of social media channels for the Conservatory of Music, Athletics, and other campus partners across academic programs, student resources, and community engagement.
  • Create paid advertising campaigns for select social media accounts in support of larger campaigns and initiatives promoting brand awareness and student enrollment.
  • Build relationships across the university, and attend/cover events to create regular content (i.e., news, profiles, imagery, and videos) that brings the Capital experience to life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with one year of related experience in a job or internship setting.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout Social (or similar platforms), and Canva.

  • Strong copywriting skills.

  • Assist with the beginning of the semester messaging to students.
  • Assist with end of semester closing of the office and messaging to students over the break.
  • Research any fun themed days/holidays that can be used in regular messaging.
  • Assist with the planning and messaging of Sagan ARC events geared towards students.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Currently enrolled as a student at OWU.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging social media content.
  • Knowledge or interest in academic support services and student engagement is desirable.

**Job Summary**
The Marketing & Communications team is seeking a creative and analytical university student to serve as the **_Social Media & Videography Intern for Spring-Summer 2026 (January-August)._** This position is part-time during the Spring semester and full-time during the Summer. The Marketing & Communications team is seeking a creative, hands-on university student to join us as a Social Media & Videography Intern for Spring-Summer 2026. As a Social Media & Videography Intern, you'll help create engaging content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You'll assist with planning, filming, and editing videos, managing social media calendars, and tracking performance metrics. **Responsibilities**
Intern activities may include some or all of the following:
+ Create and edit content for social media, including short-form videos, graphics, and behind-the-scenes footage.
+ Support the Digital Marketing Specialists with social media scheduling and engagement, ensuring posts align with brand voice and campaign goals.
+ Lead video production, including setting up equipment, producing and editing videos, organizing files, and adding captions or simple motion graphics.
+ Analyze performance metrics for social and video content, preparing reports and sharing recommendations for improvement.
+ Perform AI and Search Engine optimization SEO, including tagging, meta data, link building and citations
+ Assist with media campaigns as needed, including Paid Search and Social Advertising
+ Work with all members of the Battelle team to resolve problems
+ Assist with email marketing campaigns promoting Battelle's offerings
**Key Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing or a closely related field of study
+ Must have at least two years of college coursework complete
+ Experience creating social media content or videos for class projects, clubs, or personal channels
+ Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Instagram, LinkedIn, and tools such as Adobe Premiere or other video editing software.
+ A strong work ethic and team mentality including professional presentation, timeliness, discipline and behavior
+ Resourcefulness and ability to work independently to problem solve
+ Must be U.S. Person by definition of U.S. export laws
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Prefer local candidates who can work part-time starting in Spring 2026 semester and full-time during Summer 2026 semester.

+ Strong communication and writing skills; comfortable creating original content
